نيابةً عن مستشار خادم الحرمين الشريفين أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة الأمير خالد بن فيصل بن عبدالعزيز، توج محافظ الطائف الأمير فواز بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز اليوم الجواد «الوقاد» بكأس إمارة منطقة مكة المكرمة، بقيادة الخيال أصيل السرحاني، وتدريب مصطفى الموسى، للمالك الأمير عبدالعزيز بن أحمد بن عبدالعزيز.
وهو الانتصار الخامس للجواد في سجله السباقي والثاني على التوالي، بفارق طول ونصف الطول عن الجواد الذي حل ثانياً، وذلك لمسافة 1600 متر (الميل) بزمن (1:44.56 دقيقة)، مسجلاً زمناً قياسياً عن زمنه السابق (1:45.32 دقيقة). ويأتي هذا الإنجاز ضمن سلسلة الانتصارات التي حققتها إسطبلات عذبة للسباقات خلال موسم سباقات الطائف الحالي.
On behalf of the advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Emir of the Makkah Region, Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Taif, Prince Fawaz bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, today awarded the horse "Al-Waqad" the Makkah Region Emirate Cup, ridden by jockey Aseel Al-Sarhani and trained by Mustafa Al-Mousa, for owner Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz.
This is the fifth victory for the horse in its racing record and the second consecutive win, by a margin of a length and a half over the horse that finished second, over a distance of 1600 meters (one mile) in a time of (1:44.56 minutes), setting a new record compared to its previous time (1:45.32 minutes). This achievement is part of a series of victories achieved by Al-Adhba Stables during the current Taif racing season.
