وفي الدقيقة 92 أعاد ليساندرو مارتينيز التقدم لحامل اللقب، لكن منتخب الرأس الأخضر رفض الاستسلام، ونجح لوبيز كابرال في تسجيل هدف التعادل عند الدقيقة 103، لتزداد المباراة إثارة.
