تسلم رئيس نادي الوحدة حازم اللحياني دفة قيادة النادي، بعد اعتماد مجلس إدارته من قبل وزارة الرياضة، والتوقيع على محاضر الإستلام بحضور ممثلي مكتب وزارة الرياضة بمكة المكرمة.
من جانب آخر، اقتربت إدارة نادي الوحدة من التعاقد مع المدرب المقدوني سلافشي فوجنبسكي لقيادة الفريق الأول لكرة القدم خلال الموسم الرياضي المقبل.
وأفاد مصدر مطلع مقرب من صناع القرار في النادي أن الإدارة أنهت أغلب بنود الاتفاق مع المدرب، مشيراً إلى أنه من المتوقع أن يصل إلى مكة المكرمة الأسبوع المقبل، وذلك للإشراف على انطلاقة التدريبات والوقوف على جاهزية اللاعبين.
وأضاف المصدر أن الإدارة حددت وجهة المعسكر الإعدادي للفريق، إذ تُجرى المفاضلة حالياً بين تركيا ومصر، على أن يتضمن المعسكر إقامة خمس مباريات ودية؛ بهدف منح جميع العناصر فرصة المشاركة قبل استقرار الجهاز الفني على التشكيل النهائي الذي سيخوض به الفريق منافسات دوري الدرجة الأولى «يلو».
وفي سياق متصل، أوضح المصدر ذاته أن الإعلامي الدكتور بسام اللحياني، يعد الاسم الأبرز لشغل منصب مدير المركز الإعلامي بالنادي، خلفاً لمرهف الجفري الذي تقدّم باستقالته أخيراً.
The President of Al-Wehda Club, Hazem Al-Luhayani, has taken the helm of the club after the approval of its board of directors by the Ministry of Sports and the signing of the handover minutes in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Sports office in Makkah.
On another note, the management of Al-Wehda Club is close to signing the Macedonian coach Slavko Vujanovic to lead the first football team during the upcoming sports season.
A well-informed source close to the decision-makers at the club stated that the management has finalized most of the agreement terms with the coach, indicating that he is expected to arrive in Makkah next week to oversee the start of training and assess the players' readiness.
The source added that the management has determined the location for the team's training camp, with Turkey and Egypt currently being considered, and the camp will include five friendly matches to give all players a chance to participate before the coaching staff settles on the final lineup that the team will use in the "Yellow" first division league competitions.
In a related context, the same source clarified that the media figure Dr. Bassam Al-Luhayani is the most prominent name to take on the position of Director of the Media Center at the club, succeeding Marhaf Al-Jafri, who recently submitted his resignation.
