كشفت مصادر خاصة لـ«عكاظ» مدى احتمالية تولّي مدرب النصر السابق جورجي جيسوس قيادة الأخضر السعودي خلال الفترة المقبلة؛ خلفاً لليوناني جورجيوس دونيس.
كانت تقارير صحفية قد ذكرت، خلال الساعات الماضية، أن الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم يدرس إقالة جورجيوس دونيس بعد وداع بطولة كأس العالم 2026، والتعاقد مع جورجي جيسوس.
هل يتولى جيسوس تدريب الأخضر؟
وقالت المصادر: «كانت هناك مفاوضات غير رسمية مع جيسوس لتولي تدريب الأخضر قبل كأس العالم 2026، لكن المدرب رفض لأنها تمثّل مخاطرة كبيرة من وجهة نظره، قبل أن يستقر الاتحاد السعودي في النهاية على تعيين دونيس، كما أن الجميع يعلم أن جيسوس كان على وشك قيادة المنتخب السعودي في عام 2023، لكن الهلال تدخل وتعاقد معه».
لا مفاوضات
وأضافت المصادر أنه لا توجد مفاوضات بين الاتحاد السعودي وجيسوس حتى هذه اللحظة، كما أن احتمالية تولي البرتغالي قيادة الأخضر ضعيفة، لكن لا شيء مستبعد في الفترة المقبلة.
الوجهة الأقرب
وأوضحت أن جيسوس أحد أبرز المرشحين لتدريب منتخب البرتغال بعد بطولة كأس العالم 2026، لكن لا يوجد اتفاق بين الطرفين حتى الآن.
مسيرة ناجحة في الملاعب السعودية
يُذكر أن جيسوس درب الهلال في موسم 2018-2019، وقاد الفريق لتحقيق كأس السوبر السعودي، قبل أن يغادر رغم تصدره الدوري، ثم عاد لاحقاً إلى «الزعيم» وقاد الفريق لتحقيق ثلاثية تاريخية في موسم 2023-2024، إلى جانب سلسلة قياسية من الانتصارات المتتالية دون هزيمة.
ودرب جيسوس النصر في موسم 2025-2026، وقاده للعودة إلى منصات التتويج بعد غياب طويل، بحصد لقب دوري روشن السعودي.

Will Jesus take over the Green team?
Sources stated: "There were unofficial negotiations with Jesus to take over the Green team before the 2026 World Cup, but the coach refused as it represented a significant risk from his perspective, before the Saudi Federation ultimately decided to appoint Donis. Everyone knows that Jesus was on the verge of leading the Saudi national team in 2023, but Al-Hilal intervened and signed him."
No negotiations
Furthermore, the sources added that there are currently no negotiations between the Saudi Federation and Jesus, and the likelihood of the Portuguese coach leading the Green team is low, but nothing is ruled out in the near future.
The closest destination
It was clarified that Jesus is one of the top candidates to coach the Portugal national team after the 2026 World Cup, but there is no agreement between the two parties as of now.
Successful career in Saudi stadiums
It is worth mentioning that Jesus coached Al-Hilal in the 2018-2019 season, leading the team to win the Saudi Super Cup, before leaving despite topping the league. He later returned to "The Leader" and led the team to achieve a historic treble in the 2023-2024 season, along with a record series of consecutive victories without defeat.
Jesus also coached Al-Nassr in the 2025-2026 season, leading them back to the podium after a long absence by winning the Roshen Saudi League title.
