واصل قائد المنتخب الجزائري رياض محرز كتابة التاريخ بقميص «محاربي الصحراء»، بعدما رفع رصيده إلى 10 أهداف في البطولات الكبرى، ليصبح أول لاعب في تاريخ المنتخب الجزائري يصل إلى هذا الرقم.
وسجل محرز 9 أهداف في كأس أمم أفريقيا، قبل أن يفتتح سجله التهديفي في كأس العالم 2026، ليصل إلى هدفه العاشر في البطولات الكبرى مع المنتخب.
ولم يقتصر إنجاز محرز على ذلك، إذ أصبح أيضاً أول لاعب جزائري يُسجّل هدفاً في كأس العالم بعمر 35 عاماً، كما بات أول لاعب من منتخب الجزائر يهز الشباك في المونديال وهو بعمر 32 عاماً أو أكثر.
ويؤكد هذا الإنجاز المكانة التاريخية التي يحتلها محرز في الكرة الجزائرية، بعدما واصل إضافة الأرقام القياسية إلى مسيرته الدولية الحافلة.
