شدد المدير الفني لمنتخب مصر حسام حسن على أن فريقه يدخل مباراة إيران صباح غدٍ باحثاً عن الفوز فقط، مؤكداً عدم وجود لاعب أساسي وآخر احتياطي داخل صفوف «الفراعنة».
وقال حسام حسن خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي يسبق مواجهة الجولة الثالثة من دور المجموعات في كأس العالم 2026:«لا يوجد لاعب أساسي واحتياطي في المنتخب، والخبرات فقط تصنع الفارق. الانضباط والالتزام في المعسكر هما أهم أسباب نجاح منتخب مصر».
وأضاف العميد: «محمد صلاح لاعب ذكي ومختلف، ومنتخب مصر فريق جماعي. رغبة اللاعبين وقراءتنا الجيدة للمباريات هي سبب النتائج الجيدة في كأس العالم».
وتابع مدرب الفراعنة حديثه عن المنافس: «نحترم منتخب إيران لأنه منتخب قوي ويحتل المركز 21 عالمياً، جاهزون للمباراة وأتمنى أن يحالف جميع اللاعبين التوفيق وأن يكونوا في أفضل حالاتهم. كل لاعبي منتخب مصر أساسيون، ولدي ثقة فيهم جميعاً، وأي لاعب يشارك سيقدم كل ما لديه».
واختتم حسام حسن تصريحاته برسالة للجماهير: «نلعب غداً للفوز فقط ولا ننظر لأي حسابات أخرى. نسعى دائماً لتقديم صورة مشرفة عن الكرة المصرية. أشكر الجماهير المصرية على الدعم المستمر، ورسالتي لهم: لن نخذلكم ولن نقصر في أي مباراة».
The head coach of the Egyptian national team, Hossam Hassan, emphasized that his team is entering the match against Iran tomorrow morning seeking only victory, confirming that there is no starting player and another substitute within the ranks of the "Pharaohs".
Hossam Hassan said during the press conference preceding the third round match in the group stage of the 2026 World Cup: "There is no starting and substitute player in the national team; only experience makes the difference. Discipline and commitment during the camp are the most important reasons for the success of the Egyptian national team."
He added: "Mohamed Salah is a smart and unique player, and the Egyptian national team is a collective team. The players' desire and our good reading of the matches are the reasons for the good results in the World Cup."
The Pharaohs' coach continued his remarks about the opponent: "We respect the Iranian national team because it is a strong team and ranks 21st in the world. We are ready for the match, and I hope all players will be fortunate and in their best form. All players in the Egyptian national team are starters, and I have confidence in all of them, and any player who participates will give their all."
Hossam Hassan concluded his statements with a message to the fans: "We play tomorrow only to win and do not look at any other calculations. We always strive to present an honorable image of Egyptian football. I thank the Egyptian fans for their continued support, and my message to them is: We will not let you down, and we will not fall short in any match."
