كشفت الحكومة الفيدرالية الأمريكية عن مصادرة وإسقاط عشرات الطائرات المسيّرة منذ انطلاق منافسات كأس العالم لكرة القدم 2026 مطلع يونيو الجاري، في إطار إجراءات أمنية مشددة تهدف إلى حماية الملاعب والجماهير المشاركة في الحدث الرياضي الأكبر عالمياً.
ووفقاً لإحصاءات نشرتها وزارة الأمن الداخلي الأمريكية، تمكن مسؤولون فيدراليون بالتعاون مع أجهزة إنفاذ القانون المحلية من رصد واعتراض عدد كبير من الطائرات المسيّرة التي حلقت داخل أو بالقرب من المناطق الجوية المحظورة فوق الملاعب المستضيفة للمباريات.
وأكّدت الوزارة أن السلطات قامت في عدة مواقع بتطبيق إجراءات وقائية معتمدة لإجبار الطائرات المسيّرة على الهبوط أو تعطيلها، بينما جرى في بعض الحالات مصادرة الطائرات بالكامل والتحقيق مع مشغليها بسبب مخالفة القيود الأمنية المفروضة خلال البطولة.
وتأتي هذه الإجراءات ضمن خطة أمنية واسعة النطاق وضعتها السلطات الأمريكية بالتنسيق مع الجهات الأمنية في الدول المستضيفة لكأس العالم، بهدف منع أي تهديد محتمل قد يعرّض سلامة اللاعبين أو الجماهير أو المنشآت الرياضية للخطر.
وأوضحت وزارة الأمن الداخلي أن كثيراً من مشغلي الطائرات المسيّرة قد لا يكونون على دراية بوجود مناطق حظر جوي مؤقتة حول الملاعب، إلا أن تشغيل الطائرات دون تصريح داخل هذه المناطق يعد مخالفة قد تؤدي إلى مصادرة المعدات وفرض عقوبات قانونية.
وتعكس هذه التطورات حجم التحديات الأمنية الجديدة التي تواجه الأحداث الرياضية الكبرى في ظل الانتشار الواسع للطائرات المسيّرة المدنية، والتي أصبحت تشكل هاجساً متزايداً للأجهزة الأمنية حول العالم.
وشهدت السنوات الأخيرة تصاعداً ملحوظاً في المخاوف المرتبطة باستخدام الطائرات المسيّرة خلال الفعاليات الرياضية والجماهيرية الكبرى، خاصة بعد تسجيل حوادث عدة تسببت في تعطيل مباريات أو تهديد سلامة الجماهير في أوروبا وأمريكا الشمالية.
وخلال البطولات الكبرى، تفرض السلطات الأمريكية عادة مناطق حظر جوي مؤقتة فوق الملاعب ومحيطها، مع نشر أنظمة متطورة لرصد وتعقب وتعطيل الطائرات المسيّرة غير المصرح بها.

The U.S. federal government has revealed the seizure and downing of dozens of drones since the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup competitions in early June, as part of enhanced security measures aimed at protecting the stadiums and the fans participating in the largest sporting event in the world.
According to statistics published by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, federal officials, in cooperation with local law enforcement agencies, were able to detect and intercept a large number of drones that flew inside or near the restricted airspace over the stadiums hosting the matches.
The department confirmed that authorities implemented preventive measures at several locations to force the drones to land or disable them, while in some cases, the drones were completely seized and their operators investigated for violating the security restrictions imposed during the tournament.
These measures are part of a comprehensive security plan developed by U.S. authorities in coordination with security agencies in the host countries of the World Cup, aimed at preventing any potential threat that could endanger the safety of players, fans, or sports facilities.
The Department of Homeland Security clarified that many drone operators may not be aware of the existence of temporary no-fly zones around the stadiums, but operating drones without permission in these areas constitutes a violation that could lead to the seizure of equipment and legal penalties.
These developments reflect the scale of new security challenges facing major sporting events in light of the widespread use of civilian drones, which have become an increasing concern for security agencies around the world.
