طمأن النجم الدنماركي كريستيان إريكسن جماهيره حول حالته الصحية، مؤكداً أنه بخير ويقضي وقته حالياً مع عائلته في المنزل.
وقال إريكسن في بيان نشره في موقع التواصل الاجتماعي «X»: «أريد أن أخبر الجميع بأنني بخير وأنا الآن في المنزل مع عائلتي. كما يمكنكم تخيله، تلقي صدمة من جهاز ICD الخاص بي أثر بشكل كبير علي وعلى عائلتي».
وأوضح اللاعب أن ما حدث «موقف مختلف عما حدث في 2021»، مشيراً إلى أن جهاز تنظيم ضربات القلب القابل للزراعة ICD قام بدقة بما صُمم من أجله: «حمايتي عندما احتاج إليه».
وأضاف: «أشعر بتحسن، وقد بدأت عملية التعافي بالفعل. إلى جانب شكري لدعم ومساعدة جميع اللاعبين وفريق الإسعاف الطبي في الملعب، أنا ممتن جداً أيضاً للأطباء الذين اعتنوا بي وبقلبي على مدار السنوات».
وختم تصريحه بالتأكيد على أن تركيزه الحالي منصب على التعافي وقضاء الوقت مع عائلته ولعب كرة القدم مع أطفاله.
يُذكر أن إريكسن سقط مغشياً عليه في يورو 2020 بسبب سكتة قلبية، ومنذ ذلك الحين يلعب بجهاز ICD مزروع في صدره.

Eriksen said in a statement posted on the social media platform "X": "I want to tell everyone that I am fine and I am now at home with my family. As you can imagine, receiving a shock from my ICD device has greatly affected me and my family."
The player explained that what happened is "a different situation from what occurred in 2021," noting that the implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) performed exactly as it was designed to: "to protect me when I needed it."
He added: "I feel better, and I have already started the recovery process. Besides my gratitude for the support and help from all the players and the medical team on the field, I am also very thankful to the doctors who have taken care of me and my heart over the years."
He concluded his statement by emphasizing that his current focus is on recovery, spending time with his family, and playing football with his children.
It is worth mentioning that Eriksen collapsed during Euro 2020 due to a cardiac arrest, and since then he has been playing with an ICD implanted in his chest.
