في خطوة لامتصاص غضب الشارع الرياضي، وبعد 48 ساعة من الأحداث التي صاحبت مواجهة الفيحاء والأهلي، أصدر الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم بيانًا صحفيًا بشأن ما صاحب مواجهة الفيحاء السعودي والأهلي السعودي ضمن الجولة الـ29 من دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين، وما تلاها من تصريحات إعلامية.
وأوضح الاتحاد أن اللجان المختصة باشرت اتخاذ الإجراءات النظامية حيال الأحداث التي رافقت اللقاء، مؤكدًا أنه سيتم الإعلان عن أي مستجدات وفق الإجراءات الرسمية المعتمدة، وبما يتماشى مع مبدأ استقلالية عمل اللجان ومتطلبات الحوكمة والشفافية.
وشدد البيان على أن نزاهة المنافسة وحماية سمعة كرة القدم السعودية تمثلان التزامًا أساسيًا وواجبًا نظاميًا، وفقًا للنظام الأساسي للاتحاد ولوائحه المعتمدة.
كما أكد الاتحاد اعتزازه بالأندية كافة، وحرصه على العمل معها كشركاء في تطوير كرة القدم السعودية، ضمن منظومة تقوم على التكامل والمسؤولية المشتركة.
In a move to absorb the anger of the sports community, and after 48 hours from the events surrounding the match between Al-Faihah and Al-Ahli, the Saudi Football Federation issued a press statement regarding the match between Al-Faihah and Al-Ahli within the 29th round of the Roshan Saudi Pro League, and the subsequent media statements.
The federation clarified that the relevant committees have begun taking legal actions regarding the events that accompanied the match, emphasizing that any updates will be announced according to the approved official procedures, in line with the principle of the independence of the committees' work and the requirements of governance and transparency.
The statement stressed that the integrity of competition and the protection of the reputation of Saudi football represent a fundamental commitment and a legal duty, according to the federation's constitution and its approved regulations.
The federation also affirmed its pride in all clubs and its keenness to work with them as partners in developing Saudi football, within a system based on integration and shared responsibility.
