رحبّت الجماهير الضمكاوية بمحافظ خميس مشيط خالد بن مشيط، ورئيس نادي أبها سعد الأحمري، بعد حضورهما وجماهير كبيرة لأجل دعم ومؤازرة وتشجيع «ضمك» في مباراته أمام صاحب المركز الخامس في ترتيب دوري روشن السعودي «التعاون»، ضمن الجولة 22، والتي أُقيمت على ملعب فارس الجنوب، وانتهت بفوزه الذي طال انتظاره وبنتيجة هدفين مقابل هدف للتعاون، في أول لقاء تحت قيادة مدربه الجديد البرازيلي فابيو كاريلي، والذي تم التعاقد معه الأسبوع الحالي، فيما ارتفع رصيد فارس الجنوب إلى 15 نقطة. وقال لـ«عكاظ» محسن الشهراني ومحمد غواء وسلطان مرزوق،: حمداً لله على الفوز المستحق والـ3 نقاط التي هي الأهم بالطبع بعد سلسلة خسائر وتعادلات وانتقادات حادة وتغيير المدرب، ولعل هذا الفوز هو الانطلاقة الجادة والسريعة للعودة في المباريات القادمة وكسب النقاط والابتعاد كثيراً عن مؤخرة ترتيب فرق دوري روشن. وأضافوا، القراءة الفنية تؤكد أن القادم أفضل وبقوة مع المدرب الجديد حيث في أول مباراة لقيادته الفريق وأمام التعاون، تغير المستوى الفني والتكتيكي للفريق وبشكل كبير وذلك إلى الاتجاه الصحيح، فيما الاستمرارية على هذا الحال حتى نهاية دوري روشن هي مطالب جماهير ومحبي وعشاق فارس الجنوب. يُذكر أن لقاء ضمك القادم سيكون أمام الشباب.
