وأوضح الاتحاد المغربي، في بيان عبر موقعه الإلكتروني، أنه لا صحة إطلاقاً لما تداولته بعض التقارير الإعلامية بشأن تقدم وليد الركراكي باستقالته من منصبه.
إخفاق قاري
وفشل الركراكي في إعادة المغرب إلى منصة التتويج القارية بعد غياب 50 عاماً، إذ خسر «أسود الأطلس» نهائي بطولة كأس الأمم الأفريقية أمام منتخب السنغال بهدف نظيف، الشهر الماضي، على ملعب الأمير مولاي عبد الله في الرباط.
الهدف القادم
ويأمل المنتخب المغربي في تجاوز الإخفاق القاري بتحقيق إنجاز جديد في بطولة كأس العالم 2026، المقرر إقامتها في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا والمكسيك، بعد أن حصد المركز الرابع في المونديال الماضي، كأفضل إنجاز عربي وأفريقي في تاريخ المسابقة.

The Moroccan Federation clarified in a statement on its website that there is absolutely no truth to the reports circulating about Walid Regragui submitting his resignation from his position.
Continental Failure
Regragui failed to bring Morocco back to the continental championship podium after a 50-year absence, as the "Atlas Lions" lost the final of the Africa Cup of Nations to the Senegal national team by a single goal last month at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
The Next Goal
The Moroccan national team hopes to overcome the continental failure by achieving a new accomplishment in the 2026 World Cup, which is set to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, after finishing fourth in the last World Cup, marking the best achievement for Arab and African teams in the history of the tournament.
