تتوالى الإنجازات الوطنية في جميع المجالات لا سيما الرياضية منها. وكتبت الدكتورة نوف بامهير اسمها بحروف من ذهب بحصولها على شهادة الدكتوراه في مجال الإدارة الرياضية من جامعة لوفبرا، كأول سعودية تنال هذه الشهادة من الجامعة البريطانية العريقة.
وأكدت بامهير لـ«عكاظ»، أن طموحها القادم يتمثل في الانتقال إلى العمل التنفيذي والإسهام المباشر في صناعة القرار الرياضي، خصوصاً في الملفات الإستراتيجية المرتبطة بتطوير المنظومة الرياضية الوطنية.
وقالت الدكتورة نوف: «أرى أن المرحلة القادمة، لا سيما مع الاستحقاقات الكبرى مثل استضافة كأس العالم 2034، تتطلب كوادر وطنية قادرة على الربط بين البحث العلمي وصناعة السياسات والتنفيذ العملي، بما يضمن أثراً مستداماً وفعلياً على أرض الواقع، ويهمني الإسهام ضمن فرق العمل المعنية بالتخطيط والتقييم وبناء نماذج عمل مؤسسية من خلال أدوار تنفيذية وقيادية ضمن منظومة الرياضة، وتسهم في صناعة القرار وتترك أثراً طويل المدى للقطاع».
وأضافت قائلة: «أتاح لي عملي التطوعي مع الأندية الرياضية في المملكة المتحدة، إلى جانب عملي كباحثة مع مركز أبحاث الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم (سفير)، فهماً عملياً أعمق لطبيعة العمل الرياضي المؤسسي وكيفية التخطيط واستدامة البرامج وتطوير الكوادر، وهي عناصر أساسية يمكن توظيفها في التخطيط والتنفيذ خلال المرحلة القادمة».
واختتمت الدكتورة بامهير حديثها قائلةً: «شهدت رياضتنا تطوراً ملحوظاً في السنوات الماضية بقيادة وزير الرياضة الأمير عبدالعزيز بن تركي الفيصل، وأصبح الوطن واجهة رئيسية للأحداث الرياضية العالمية وهذا التطور جاء مواكباً لرؤية المملكة 2030».
National achievements continue to unfold in all fields, especially in sports. Dr. Nouf Bamehir has inscribed her name in golden letters by obtaining a PhD in Sports Management from Loughborough University, becoming the first Saudi woman to receive this degree from the prestigious British university.
Bamehir confirmed to "Okaz" that her next ambition is to transition into executive work and contribute directly to sports decision-making, particularly in strategic files related to the development of the national sports system.
Dr. Nouf said: "I believe that the upcoming phase, especially with major events like hosting the 2034 World Cup, requires national cadres capable of linking scientific research with policy-making and practical implementation, ensuring a sustainable and effective impact on the ground. I am keen to contribute within the working teams concerned with planning, evaluation, and building institutional work models through executive and leadership roles within the sports system, contributing to decision-making and leaving a long-term impact on the sector."
She added: "My volunteer work with sports clubs in the United Kingdom, alongside my role as a researcher with the Saudi Football Federation Research Center (Safir), has provided me with a deeper practical understanding of the nature of institutional sports work, how to plan and sustain programs, and develop human resources. These are essential elements that can be utilized in planning and implementation during the upcoming phase."
Dr. Bamehir concluded her remarks by saying: "Our sports have witnessed significant development in recent years under the leadership of the Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal. The nation has become a main hub for global sports events, and this development aligns with the Kingdom's Vision 2030."
