تراجع نادي الرياض عن التنازل عن لاعبه الإيفواري سورو إلى نادي القادسية الكويتي مقابل انتقال اللاعب الجزائري فيكتور مهدي لكحل إلى صفوف فريق الرياض في صفقة تبادلية خلال فترة الانتقالات الشتوية الحالية، رغم الاتفاق المبدئي على الصفقة من الأطراف كافة، إذ فضلت إدارة نادي الرياض تقديم عرض مالي بديل عن الصفقة التبادلية، غير أن إدارة القادسية رفضت العرض، متمسكة بالاتفاق السابق.
ولا تزال المفاوضات مستمرة حتى اللحظة، وينتظر مسؤولو الرياض الرد النهائي بخصوص الاتفاق على بيع عقد اللاعب فيكتور مهدي لكحل.
The Riyadh Club has retracted its decision to transfer its Ivorian player Soro to the Kuwaiti Al-Qadsia Club in exchange for the transfer of the Algerian player Victor Mahdi Kahl to the Riyadh team in a swap deal during the current winter transfer window, despite the initial agreement on the deal from all parties. The management of Riyadh Club preferred to make a financial offer instead of the swap deal; however, Al-Qadsia's management rejected the offer, insisting on the previous agreement.
The negotiations are still ongoing at this moment, and the Riyadh officials are awaiting the final response regarding the agreement to sell the contract of the player Victor Mahdi Kahl.
