أقدم أحد الأشخاص على إضرام النار في تمثال قائد نادي النصر، البرتغالي كريستيانو رونالدو، في جزيرة ماديرا مسقط رأس اللاعب.
ووفقاً لصحيفة «ميرور» البريطانية، قام شاب بتصوير نفسه وهو يسكب سائلاً قابلاً للاشتعال على نسخة برونزية لمهاجم النصر، ثم أضرم النار في التمثال، وشرع في أداء رقصة جنونية على أنغام موسيقى الراب الصاخبة المنبعثة من مكبر صوت أحضره خصيصاً.
وتابعت الصحيفة أنه رغم أن النيران التهمت التمثال بالكامل في البداية، إلا أنها سرعان ما انطفأت.
رسالة غامضة.. وغضب على الإنترنت
ونشر المخرب رسالة غريبة إلى جانب لقطات حركته الخطيرة عبر حسابه على موقع «إنستغرام»، وكتب: «هذا هو التحذير الأخير من الله».
وعبر منتقدون، بمن فيهم بعض مشجعي رونالدو، عن غضبهم الشديد، بعد أن صرّحت الشرطة بأنها حدّدت هوية صاحب الحادثة، لكنها لم تتمكن من القبض عليه بعد، حيث كتب أحدهم: «هل تعتقد أن ما فعلته أمر جيد؟! أعتقد أن ما فعلته كان غير ضروري، وكل ذلك من أجل الحصول على الإعجابات».
One person set fire to the statue of Al-Nassr club captain, Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, on the island of Madeira, the player's birthplace.
According to the British newspaper "Mirror," a young man filmed himself pouring a flammable liquid on a bronze replica of the Al-Nassr striker, then set the statue on fire and began performing a wild dance to the loud rap music coming from a speaker he had brought specifically.
The newspaper continued that although the flames initially consumed the statue completely, they quickly extinguished.
A Mysterious Message.. and Anger on the Internet
The vandal posted a strange message alongside footage of his dangerous act on his Instagram account, writing: "This is the last warning from God."
Critics, including some of Ronaldo's fans, expressed their outrage after the police announced they had identified the individual responsible for the incident, but had not yet been able to arrest him. One person wrote: "Do you think what you did was good?! I believe what you did was unnecessary, all for the sake of getting likes."
