في مواجهة لا تقبل القسمة على اثنين، يصطدم منتخب مصر بنظيره الإيفواري، اليوم (السبت)، ضمن منافسات الدور ربع النهائي من بطولة كأس الأمم الأفريقية 2025 المقامة في المغرب.
وتنطلق القمة الأفريقية في تمام العاشرة مساءً بتوقيت مكة المكرمة، على ملعب «أدرار» بمدينة أغادير، وسط ترقب جماهيري كبير.
التاريخ يمنح الأفضلية للفراعنة
ويتسلح المنتخب المصري بسجل تاريخي لافت في البطولة، إذ يحمل الرقم القياسي في عدد الألقاب القارية برصيد 7 ألقاب، مقابل 3 ألقاب للمنتخب الإيفواري.
كما يتفوق «الفراعنة» في المواجهات المباشرة بين المنتخبين في كأس الأمم الأفريقية، حيث حقق 10 انتصارات من أصل 11 مواجهة، فيما جاءت الخسارة الوحيدة في نسخة عام 1990 بنتيجة 3-1، لتصل مدة العقدة الإيفوارية أمام مصر إلى 36 عاماً.
صلاح ومرموش.. مفتاحا العبور
ويعوّل منتخب مصر على نجميه محمد صلاح وعمر مرموش لاختراق الدفاعات الإيفوارية وهز الشباك، في سعيه لحجز بطاقة التأهل إلى الدور نصف النهائي.
وتأهل المنتخب المصري إلى ربع النهائي بعد فوز شاق على منتخب بنين بنتيجة 3-1 في دور الـ16، في مباراة امتدت إلى الوقت الإضافي.
كوت ديفوار يبحث عن فك العقدة
في المقابل، تأهل منتخب كوت ديفوار إلى ربع النهائي بعد فوز سهل على بوركينا فاسو بثلاثة أهداف دون رد، ويأمل في كسر عقدته التاريخية أمام مصر.
ويقود «الأفيال» كوكبة من النجوم، يتقدمهم لاعب وسط الأهلي السعودي فرانك كيسيه، الساعي لقيادة منتخب بلاده نحو مواصلة الدفاع عن لقب النسخة الأخيرة التي أقيمت على أرض كوت ديفوار عام 2023.
كيسيه: معركة لا تقبل الاختباء
وقال كيسيه في تصريحات صحفية: «لن نصاب بالذعر لمجرد أننا سنواجه منتخبًا أقصانا قبل نسختين بركلات الترجيح، ستكون معركة حامية بين حامل اللقب وأكثر المنتخبات تتويجًا بكأس الأمم الأفريقية، لا يمكننا الاختباء بعد الآن».
وأضاف: «اعتباراً من دور الـ16 وربع النهائي لا نواجه سوى أفضل المنتخبات في أفريقيا، لذلك ستكون مباراة حماسية».

The "Elephants" are led by a constellation of stars, including Saudi Al-Ahli midfielder Franck Kessié, who aims to guide his national team in continuing to defend the title from the last edition held in Côte d'Ivoire in 2023.
Kessié: A Battle That Cannot Be Hidden
Kessié stated in press remarks: "We will not be intimidated just because we are facing a team that eliminated us two editions ago on penalties; it will be a fierce battle between the defending champion and the most decorated team in the Africa Cup of Nations. We can no longer hide."
He added: "From the Round of 16 and the quarter-finals, we are only facing the best teams in Africa, so it will be an exciting match."
