أكّدت الرئيس التنفيذي المكلف للجنة المحلية المنظمة لكأس آسيا 2027 مي الهلابي، أن بطولة كأس آسيا تحت 23 عاماً 2026 ستقدّم تجربة مختلفة تُجسّد قيم الوحدة والإلهام وتعزيز التجربة الجماهيرية بوصفها ركائز أساسية لهذا الحدث القاري.
وأضافت أن الرياض وجدة تحتضنان فرقاً وجماهير من مختلف دول آسيا في مشهد يُجسد قوة الرياضة في جمع الشعوب على أرض واحدة، فيما توفر البطولة منصة لإلهام الجيل الجديد من المواهب الرياضية، وبناء نماذج مشرفة تعكس روح العزيمة والتحدي.
وأشارت إلى أن المملكة تواصل ترسيخ موقعها بوصفه وجهة رائدة لاستضافة الأحداث الرياضية الكبرى، مبينة الالتزام بتطبيق أعلى المعايير لضمان نسخة تنظيمية تليق باسم المملكة، منوهة بتمكين الكفاءات الوطنية الشابة من المنظمين والمتطوعين عبر مشاركتهم في مختلف مسارات العمل بما يُعزّز خبراتهم في إدارة البطولات الدولية، مؤكدةً أن البطولة تمثل محطة رئيسة ضمن استعدادات المملكة لاستضافة كأس آسيا 2027، بما يعكس مكانتها المتنامية في المشهد الرياضي القاري، وقدرتها على تنظيم الأحداث الكبرى وفق أعلى المستويات العالمية.
The acting CEO of the local organizing committee for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup, Mai Al-Hilabi, confirmed that the 2026 AFC U-23 Asian Cup will provide a different experience that embodies the values of unity and inspiration, enhancing the fan experience as fundamental pillars of this continental event.
She added that Riyadh and Jeddah will host teams and fans from various Asian countries in a scene that exemplifies the power of sports in bringing people together on one ground, while the tournament provides a platform to inspire the new generation of sports talents and build honorable models that reflect the spirit of determination and challenge.
She pointed out that the Kingdom continues to establish its position as a leading destination for hosting major sporting events, highlighting the commitment to applying the highest standards to ensure an organizational version worthy of the Kingdom's name, noting the empowerment of young national talents among organizers and volunteers through their participation in various work streams, which enhances their experiences in managing international tournaments. She emphasized that the tournament represents a key milestone in the Kingdom's preparations to host the 2027 AFC Asian Cup, reflecting its growing stature in the continental sports scene and its ability to organize major events at the highest global levels.
