قضت محكمة جنح التجمع الخامس بالقاهرة الجديدة، اليوم (الخميس)، بمعاقبة علي غزال، لاعب منتخب مصر السابق ومدافع سابق في أندية أوروبية وآسيوية، بالحبس لمدة 3 سنوات مع الشغل، وكفالة مالية قدرها 20 ألف جنيه لوقف التنفيذ مؤقتاً، في اتهامه بالنصب والاستيلاء على أموال رجل أعمال من خلال طرق احتيالية، إضافة إلى إصدار شيكات دون رصيد.

يأتي هذا الحكم تأكيداً لسلسلة أحكام سابقة غيابية صدرت ضد غزال، إذ أيدت محكمة جنح مستأنف القاهرة الجديدة في وقت سابق أحكاماً بالحبس 3 سنوات في قضايا مشابهة تتعلق بالنصب على مواطنين ولاعبي كرة قدم آخرين.

تعود وقائع القضية إلى بلاغات مقدمة من عدة أشخاص، بينهم رجال أعمال ولاعبو كرة قدم، يتهمون علي غزال وشركاء له (من بينهم شخص هارب) بتأسيس شركة وهمية لاستيراد هواتف محمولة من أوروبا أو استثمار أموال في مشروعات تجارية مربحة.
ووعد غزال الضحايا بأرباح شهرية مغرية، مما دفع بعضهم إلى تسليمه مبالغ مالية كبيرة تصل في إحدى الحالات إلى أكثر من 7 ملايين جنيه مصري.
وبعد استلام الأموال، توقف غزال عن دفع الأرباح الموعودة أو إعادة رأس المال، وحرر شيكات للضحايا تبين أنها دون رصيد كافٍ، كما أغلق مقر الشركة واختفى، مما دفع الضحايا إلى تقديم بلاغات رسمية.
وألقت الأجهزة الأمنية القبض على غزال سابقاً لتنفيذ أحكام غيابية متعددة (تصل إلى 26 حكماً في قضايا تبديد وشيكات دون رصيد)، ورفضت المحكمة معارضاته على هذه الأحكام، مما أدى إلى تأييدها.

علي غزال (33 عاماً) هو مدافع سابق لمنتخب مصر، شارك في 11 مباراة دولية، ولعب في أندية مثل ناسيونال البرتغالي، جوانجزو الصيني، وفانكوفر وايتكابس الأمريكي، اعتزل الكرة في 2023 وبدأ مسيرة تدريبية، لكن هذه القضايا ألقت بظلالها على مسيرته بعد الاعتزال.
The Fifth Settlement Misdemeanor Court in New Cairo ruled today (Thursday) to imprison Ali Ghazal, a former player of the Egyptian national team and a former defender for European and Asian clubs, for 3 years with hard labor, and a financial bail of 20,000 Egyptian pounds to temporarily suspend the execution, on charges of fraud and embezzlement of a businessman’s money through fraudulent methods, in addition to issuing checks without sufficient funds.

This ruling confirms a series of previous absentia judgments issued against Ghazal, as the New Cairo Misdemeanor Appeals Court previously upheld sentences of 3 years in similar cases related to defrauding citizens and other football players.
Case Details
The events of the case date back to complaints filed by several individuals, including businessmen and football players, accusing Ali Ghazal and his associates (including a fugitive) of establishing a fictitious company to import mobile phones from Europe or invest money in profitable business projects.
Ghazal promised the victims enticing monthly profits, which led some of them to hand over large sums of money, with one case exceeding 7 million Egyptian pounds.
After receiving the money, Ghazal stopped paying the promised profits or returning the capital, and issued checks to the victims that turned out to be without sufficient funds. He also closed the company’s headquarters and disappeared, prompting the victims to file official complaints.
Security forces previously arrested Ghazal to enforce multiple absentia judgments (up to 26 judgments in cases of embezzlement and checks without sufficient funds), and the court rejected his appeals against these judgments, leading to their confirmation.
