أكد الأمريكي ليرنر تيين، أن حصوله على بطولة الجيل القادم لمحترفي التنس 2025 يعدُّ شعورًا استثنائيًا، لا سيما بوجوده بين أسماء قوية، والحصول على المركز الثاني خلال منافسات العام الماضي.
جاء ذلك خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عقد في ختام منافسات البطولة. وأوضح أن الجمهور كان علامةً فارقةً في تشكيل قوة إضافية داخل الميدان، معربًا عن سعادته بذلك الإنجاز.
من جانبه، أرجع البلجيكي ألكسندر بلوكس خسارته اللقب إلى قوة منافسه، الذي أجادَ معرفة نقاط الضعف، وعدم إتاحة المساحات لتسجيل النقاط، مبينًا أنه عمل على تغيير طريقة لعبه، والقيام بخطةٍ بديلة، إلا أن مهارة ليرنر تيين منحته نسبةَ نجاحٍ عالية خلال المباراة.
The American Lerner Tien confirmed that winning the Next Generation ATP Finals 2025 is an exceptional feeling, especially being among strong names and securing second place during last year's competition.
This came during the press conference held at the conclusion of the tournament. He explained that the audience was a significant factor in creating additional strength on the court, expressing his happiness with that achievement.
For his part, the Belgian Alexander Blockx attributed his loss of the title to the strength of his opponent, who expertly identified weaknesses and did not allow spaces for scoring points. He indicated that he worked on changing his playing style and implementing an alternative strategy, but Tien's skill granted him a high success rate during the match.
