زار الشيخ حمد بن خليفة بن أحمد آل ثاني وزير الرياضة بدولة قطر النائب الثاني لرئيس الاتحاد العربي لكرة القدم، معرض الاتحاد العربي المقام في مدينة الدوحة.
واطلع الشيخ حمد بن خليفة على محتوى المعرض في حضور الدكتور رجاءالله السلمي الأمين العام للاتحاد العربي لكرة القدم والأمين المساعد الأستاذ مبارك الضفيان، مبدياً سعادته بما حواه المعرض من إرث تاريخي للاتحاد العربي ولمسابقاته المختلفة، ومشيداً بالمعرض التاريخي وبجهود الأمانة العامة للاتحاد العربي.
وفي جانب آخر، وقّع الاتحاد العربي لكرة القدم واتحاد غرب آسيا لكرة القدم، ظهر اليوم (الخميس) بالعاصمة القطرية الدوحة، اتفاقية تعاون مشترك بحضور الأمين العام للاتحاد العربي الدكتور رجاء الله السلمي والأمين العام لاتحاد غرب آسيا الأستاذ خليل السالم.
وتهدف الاتفاقية إلى إقامة بطولات مشتركة بين الاتحادين في مختلف المسابقات وتطوير كرة القدم العربية في قارتي آسيا وأفريقيا، وتمكين اللاعبين العرب من اكتساب الخبرات ومنحهم الفرصة للمزيد من الاحتكاك الفني.
كما تهدف الاتفاقية إلى إقامة دورات وورش عمل مشتركة في مختلف الجوانب الإدارية والفنية والطبية ومجال التحكيم، بما يسهم في تطوير كافة القطاعات المرتبطة بكرة القدم العربية.
Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, the Minister of Sports of the State of Qatar and the second vice president of the Arab Football Federation, visited the Arab Federation exhibition held in the city of Doha.
Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa reviewed the contents of the exhibition in the presence of Dr. Raji Allah Al-Sulami, the Secretary-General of the Arab Football Federation, and Assistant Secretary-General Mr. Mubarak Al-Dhafyan, expressing his happiness with the historical legacy showcased in the exhibition for the Arab Federation and its various competitions, and praising the historical exhibition and the efforts of the General Secretariat of the Arab Federation.
On another note, the Arab Football Federation and the West Asian Football Federation signed a joint cooperation agreement today (Thursday) in the Qatari capital, Doha, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Arab Federation, Dr. Raji Allah Al-Sulami, and the Secretary-General of the West Asian Federation, Mr. Khalil Al-Salem.
The agreement aims to establish joint tournaments between the two federations in various competitions and to develop Arab football in Asia and Africa, enabling Arab players to gain experience and providing them with opportunities for further technical exposure.
The agreement also aims to hold joint courses and workshops in various administrative, technical, medical, and refereeing aspects, contributing to the development of all sectors related to Arab football.
