تتواصل اليوم (الثلاثاء) منافسات الجولة الثانية من بطولة كأس الخليج للناشئين تحت 17 سنة المقامة حالياً في دولة قطر الشقيقة، حيث تشهد المجموعة الثانية إقامة مباراتين على قدر كبير من الأهمية.
في اللقاء الأول يلتقي منتخبنا الوطني السعودي مع نظيره الكويتي عند الساعة السادسة مساءً على استاد حمد الكبير بالنادي العربي، في مواجهة تحمل الكثير من الندية، إذ يتصدر المنتخب السعودي ترتيب المجموعة برصيد 3 نقاط عقب فوزه الكبير في افتتاح مبارياته في البطولة على البحرين بنتيجة 4/0، فيما يمتلك المنتخب الكويتي نقطة واحدة من تعادله مع العراق. ويدخل منتخبنا الوطني هذا اللقاء سعياً لتحقيق الفوز الثاني على التوالي وحسم بطاقة العبور المبكر إلى نصف النهائي، وقد أجرى أخضر الناشئين حصته التدريبية على ملعب جامعة قطر مساء أمس (الإثنين) تحت إشراف المدرب عبدالوهاب الحربي والجهاز الفني المساعد، حيث تركّزت الحصة على الجوانب الفنية والتكتيكية، بينما يسعى الكويتيون إلى تحقيق انتصار يعيدهم إلى دائرة المنافسة بقوة.
أما المباراة الثانية فتقام في الساعة الثامنة مساءً على استاد سحيم بن حمد بنادي قطر، وتجمع منتخبي البحرين والعراق. البحرين يدخل اللقاء من أجل تعويض خسارته الثقيلة أمام السعودية برباعية، بينما يطمح المنتخب العراقي إلى استغلال نقطة التعادل التي خطفها من الكويت في الجولة الأولى، والاقتراب أكثر من بطاقة التأهل.
ومن المنتظر أن تُختتم مباريات دور المجموعات بمواجهة المنتخب العراقي يوم 26 سبتمبر الجاري على استاد حمد الكبير عند الساعة 6:00 مساءً.

Today (Tuesday), the second round of the Gulf Cup for Under-17 teams continues, currently taking place in the brotherly State of Qatar, where the second group will witness two highly significant matches.
In the first match, our Saudi national team faces its Kuwaiti counterpart at 6:00 PM at the Hamad Al-Kabeer Stadium in Al-Arabi Club, in a match that carries a lot of competitiveness, as the Saudi team leads the group standings with 3 points following their impressive victory in their opening match of the tournament against Bahrain with a score of 4-0, while the Kuwaiti team has one point from their draw with Iraq. Our national team enters this match seeking to achieve a second consecutive victory and secure an early ticket to the semifinals. The U-17 Green team conducted their training session at Qatar University’s field yesterday evening (Monday) under the supervision of coach Abdulwahab Al-Harbi and the assistant coaching staff, focusing on technical and tactical aspects, while the Kuwaitis aim to achieve a victory that would bring them back into strong contention.
The second match will take place at 8:00 PM at the Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium in Qatar Club, featuring the teams of Bahrain and Iraq. Bahrain enters the match to compensate for their heavy loss against Saudi Arabia by four goals, while the Iraqi team hopes to capitalize on the point they secured from their draw with Kuwait in the first round and get closer to qualification.
The group stage matches are expected to conclude with the Iraqi team facing off on September 26 at the Hamad Al-Kabeer Stadium at 6:00 PM.
