كشف تقرير صحفي مصير البرتغالي روبن أموريم، مدرب مانشستر يونايتد، عقب الخسارة الثقيلة أمام مانشستر سيتي بثلاثية نظيفة، أمس (الأحد)، ضمن منافسات الجولة الرابعة من الدوري الإنجليزي.
وحقق مانشستر يونايتد أسوأ بداية له في البريميرليغ منذ موسم 1992-1993، بعدما جمع 4 نقاط فقط في أول أربع جولات.
وبحسب صحيفة «مانشستر إيفنينج نيوز»، لا يزال أموريم يحظى بثقة إدارة النادي، رغم البداية المتعثرة.
ونقلت الصحيفة عن مصدر مقرب من المدرب البرتغالي قوله: «من المدهش أن مستقبل أموريم لا يزال آمناً، رغم أنه جمع 31 نقطة فقط من 31 مباراة في الدوري الإنجليزي، وتعرض لـ16 هزيمة».
وكان مانشستر يونايتد قد أنفق 236 مليون جنيه إسترليني خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية لتدعيم صفوف الفريق، إلا أن الأداء تحت قيادة أموريم لا يزال مخيباً للآمال.

Manchester United has recorded its worst start in the Premier League since the 1992-1993 season, having collected only 4 points in the first four matches.
According to the "Manchester Evening News," Amorim still enjoys the confidence of the club's management, despite the rocky start.
The newspaper quoted a source close to the Portuguese coach saying: "It is surprising that Amorim's future is still secure, even though he has only gathered 31 points from 31 matches in the Premier League and has suffered 16 defeats."
Manchester United had spent £236 million during the summer transfer window to strengthen the team, yet the performance under Amorim remains disappointing.
