• Al-Ahli paid the price for refereeing mistakes against Al-Ettifaq with a loss of two points, and it's no surprise, as Al-Ahli has long been the weakest link in the refereeing arena. If the reason is known, the astonishment disappears.
• However, this does not absolve the Al-Ahli coach and players from wasting those two points due to Matthias's poor management of the match and the missed opportunities that could have turned the game into a circus in front of Al-Ettifaq's goal.
• There are important and crucial upcoming challenges for Al-Ahli at both the local and Asian levels that require significant technical and psychological work from the "game" triangle: the coach, players, and administrators.
• Some fans and colleagues need to understand that no one is immune to criticism in Al-Ahli or elsewhere.
Criticism is an inherent part of any work, especially since we are talking about football and not about atoms. This game is governed by a collective memory concerned with plurality rather than a singular opinion.
• I mentioned that there is a media alignment between Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr against Al-Ittihad, and I based this on the opinions expressed after the Al-Ittihad and Al-Fateh match. Anyone who read the tweets and listened to the televised opinions understands what I am talking about.
I am fully aware that some may be sensitive about discussing this alignment, especially from the Al-Nasr side, but this sensitivity may have reasons known only to my beautiful friend "Mustafa Al-Nami," as his opinions always align with the possible and his art.
• What is happening between Al-Nasr and its player Abdulilah Al-Amri is a natural occurrence, and I say natural because the club set the transfer amount, which did not sit well with Al-Ittihad, and based on this, the transfer "fell apart," and the phrase in parentheses is not mine but belongs to a fellow Al-Ittihad supporter.
The question is: What love does Al-Amri have to offer to Al-Nasr?
Finally: "If you want to know the truth about a person, observe how he treats the weak when he is in a position of power." J.K. Rowling.
