انطلقت أمس (الإثنين) نهائيات بطولة المنتخبات الإقليمية تحت 14 عاماً في نسختها الأولى، وينظمها الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم في المنطقة الشرقية، بمشاركة 8 منتخبات إقليمية هي الرياض، جدة، الشرقية، القصيم، الأحساء، عسير، الطائف والحدود الشمالية.
وأقيمت أمس 4 مباريات على رديف ملعب الأمير محمد بن فهد ورديف ملعب مدينة الأمير نايف، حيث فاز منتخب الشرقية على منتخب القصيم بهدف دون رد سجله اللاعب فاضل عباس، فيما تعادل منتخب جدة مع نظيره الرياض بهدف لكل منهما، سجل لجدة اللاعب حاتم حسن وعدل للرياض سيف عبدالله، وفاز منتخب الحدود الشمالية على الأحساء بهدف دون رد سجله اللاعب محمد الصبحي.
واختتمت منافسات اليوم الأول بمباراة جمعت الطائف وعسير وانتهت بالتعادل الإيجابي 1-1 سجل لعسير يحيى علي، فيما عدل لمنتخب الطائف أحمد الفيفي.
وتُقام اليوم (الثلاثاء) 4 مباريات تجمع الشرقية مع الطائف، الرياض مع الحدود الشمالية، القصيم مع عسير، وجدة أمام الأحساء.
يذكر أن بطولة المنتخبات الإقليمية تحت 14 عاماً، ضمن برامج الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم لاكتشاف المواهب في سن مبكرة وتطويرها من خلال إقامة مثل هذه البطولات التي تساهم في تحقيق ذلك.

The finals of the Under-14 Regional Teams Championship kicked off yesterday (Monday) in its first edition, organized by the Saudi Football Federation in the Eastern Province, with the participation of 8 regional teams: Riyadh, Jeddah, Eastern Province, Qassim, Al-Ahsa, Asir, Taif, and the Northern Borders.
Four matches were held yesterday at the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium and the Prince Naif City Stadium, where the Eastern Province team defeated the Qassim team with a score of 1-0, thanks to a goal by player Fadel Abbas. Meanwhile, the Jeddah team drew with Riyadh, with each team scoring one goal; Hatem Hassan scored for Jeddah, while Saif Abdullah equalized for Riyadh. The Northern Borders team won against Al-Ahsa with a score of 1-0, with the goal scored by player Mohammed Al-Sobhi.
The first day's competitions concluded with a match between Taif and Asir, which ended in a positive draw of 1-1, with Yahya Ali scoring for Asir, while Ahmed Al-Fifi equalized for the Taif team.
Today (Tuesday), 4 matches will take place, featuring the Eastern Province against Taif, Riyadh against the Northern Borders, Qassim against Asir, and Jeddah facing Al-Ahsa.
