وقال جيسوس لبرنامج «Primeira Pessoa» على قناة «RTP» البرتغالية: «رونالدو يتمتع بشخصية استثنائية، حتى في عمره البيولوجي، ولهذا السبب لا يزال يلعب كرة القدم رغم بلوغه سن الـ40، نفكر بنفس الطريقة خارج كرة القدم، أنا في السبعين من عمري، لكنني لا أشعر بذلك في حياتي النفسية والجسدية».
وأضاف: «كريستيانو أعظم شخصية إنسانية في العالم وأعظم شخصية مشهورة في العالم، تأثيره يتجاوز حدود كرة القدم، لا نعرف كيف نُقدّره في البرتغال».
وكان جيسوس اعترف أخيراً، بأن كريستيانو رونالدو هو سبب موافقته على عرض تدريب النصر، بعد أشهر من رحيله عن الهلال.
ويخوض «العالمي» معسكراً في النمسا، استعداداً للموسم الجديد 2025- 2026، حيث يبدأ مشواره بمواجهة الاتحاد 19 أغسطس القادم، في نصف نهائي كأس السوبر.
Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus praised the personality of his compatriot and team captain Cristiano Ronaldo.
Jesus said on the program "Primeira Pessoa" on the Portuguese channel "RTP": "Ronaldo has an exceptional personality, even at his biological age, and that is why he is still playing football despite reaching the age of 40. We think the same way outside of football; I am in my seventies, but I don't feel that in my mental and physical life."
He added: "Cristiano is the greatest human personality in the world and the greatest famous personality in the world. His influence goes beyond the boundaries of football; we don't know how to appreciate him in Portugal."
Jesus recently admitted that Cristiano Ronaldo is the reason he accepted the offer to coach Al-Nassr, after months of leaving Al-Hilal.
Al-Nassr is currently in a training camp in Austria, preparing for the new season 2025-2026, where they will begin their journey by facing Al-Ittihad on August 19 in the semi-finals of the Super Cup.
