أكدت صحيفة الماركا الإسبانية تجدد حادثة العنصرية في الملاعب وتحديداً خلال مباراة إلتشي وإسبانيول، وكان النجم المغربي عمر الهلالي لاعب إسبانيول هو الضحية، إذ تم تفعيل بروتوكول مكافحة العنصرية في الدقيقة 80 على إثر توتر شديد بين الهلالي ورافائيل مير في ملعب مارتينيز فاليرو، بعد أن توجه الهلالي للحكم واتهم لاعب إسبانيول المهاجم بتوجيه إهانة عنصرية، فأوقف الحكم المباراة لمدة 3 دقائق وفعَّل البروتوكول.
وأشارت صحيفة «موندو ديبورتيفو» الإسبانية إلى أن الهلالي أبلغ الحكم بأن رافائيل مير قال له: «لقد أتيت في قارب صغير».
وقالت الصحيفة إن الحكم دوَّن في تقريره: «في الدقيقة 78، أبلغني لاعب إسبانيول رقم 23، السيد عمر الهلالي، أن لاعب إلتشي رقم 10، السيد رافائيل مير فيسنتي خاطبه قائلاً: لقد أتيت في قارب صغير، وهو ما لم يسمعه أي من أعضاء فريق التحكيم. ونتيجة لذلك، قمت بتفعيل بروتوكول مكافحة العنصرية، مما أدى إلى إيقاف المباراة لمدة 3 دقائق».
وسيكون التقرير الرسمي والتحقيق المرتقب من قبل الجهات المختصة العامل الحاسم في تحديد تبعات الحادثة، في وقتٍ تعود فيه قضية العنصرية إلى الواجهة مجدداً، على غرار تعرّض جناح ريال مدريد البرازيلي فينيسيوس جونيور لعبارة عنصرية من الأرجنتيني جيانلوكا بريتسياني خلال مباراة ملحق دوري أبطال أوروبا.
ووفقاً للوائح الحالية، وفي حال ثبوت وقوع هذه الإهانة، قد يواجه لاعب إلتشي إيقافاً لمدة تصل إلى 10 مباريات بموجب المادة 105، التي تتناول السلوكيات الخطيرة المخالفة للنظام الرياضي، وتترتب على ذلك أيضاً غرامة تتراوح بين 602 و3006 يورو.
The Spanish newspaper Marca confirmed the recurrence of a racism incident in stadiums, specifically during the match between Elche and Espanyol, where Moroccan star Omar El Hilali, a player for Espanyol, was the victim. The anti-racism protocol was activated in the 80th minute following a severe altercation between El Hilali and Rafael Mir at the Martínez Valero Stadium, after El Hilali approached the referee and accused the Espanyol forward of making a racist insult. The referee halted the match for 3 minutes and activated the protocol.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo reported that El Hilali informed the referee that Rafael Mir said to him: "You came here in a small boat."
The newspaper stated that the referee noted in his report: "In the 78th minute, Espanyol player number 23, Mr. Omar El Hilali, informed me that Elche player number 10, Mr. Rafael Mir Vicente, addressed him saying: 'You came here in a small boat,' which was not heard by any of the officiating team members. As a result, I activated the anti-racism protocol, leading to a 3-minute stoppage of the match."
The official report and the anticipated investigation by the relevant authorities will be the decisive factors in determining the consequences of the incident, at a time when the issue of racism is once again in the spotlight, similar to when Real Madrid winger Vinícius Júnior faced a racist remark from Argentine Gianluca Prestianni during a Champions League playoff match.
According to current regulations, if this insult is proven to have occurred, the Elche player could face a suspension of up to 10 matches under Article 105, which addresses dangerous behaviors that violate sports regulations, and this would also result in a fine ranging from 602 to 3006 euros.
