أفادت وسائل إعلام كاميرونية أن صامويل إيتو النجم السابق لأندية برشلونة والإنتر وأنجي والرئيس الحالي للاتحاد الكاميروني لكرة القدم يواجه تهماً بسرقة 600 ألف دولار.
وأوضحت أنّ المبلغ المقصود كان من المفترض أن يدفع للمنتخب الكاميروني لقاء خوضه مباراة ودية أمام منتخب المكسيك عام 2023، والتي أقيمت في الولايات المتحدة، إلا أن لاعبي المنتخب لم يتسلموا مستحقاتهم المالية حتى الآن.
ووفقاً للتقارير، تم تقديم شكوى ضد إيتو إلى مكتب التحقيقات الفيدرالي الأمريكي FBI ووزارة العدل الأمريكية.
ورغم أن الشكوى لا تتضمن اتهاماً مباشرا لإيتو، فإنه بصفته رئيساً للاتحاد، يعد المسؤول الأول عن توزيع الأموال.

Cameroonian media reported that Samuel Eto'o, the former star of Barcelona, Inter, and Anzhi, and the current president of the Cameroonian Football Federation, is facing charges of stealing $600,000.
It was clarified that the amount in question was supposed to be paid to the Cameroonian national team for playing a friendly match against the Mexican national team in 2023, which took place in the United States, but the players of the national team have not received their financial dues yet.
According to reports, a complaint has been filed against Eto'o with the American FBI and the U.S. Department of Justice.
Although the complaint does not include a direct accusation against Eto'o, as the president of the federation, he is primarily responsible for the distribution of funds.
