وسيطر أرسنال على مجريات اللعب في الدقيقة 35، ومن هجمة مرتدة سريعة ضاعف تقدمه بضربة رأس من رايس.
ولم تكن لبيرنلي أي محاولة على المرمى في الشوط الأول ورغم أنه شكل خطورة أكبر بعد الاستراحة نجح أرسنال في الحفاظ على شباكه نظيفة للمباراة السابعة توالياً في كل المسابقات.
وارتفع رصيد أرسنال إلى 25 نقطة من 10 مباريات، بفارق 7 نقاط أمام بورنموث، ثاني الترتيب الذي يحل ضيفاً على مانشستر سيتي اليوم (الأحد). ويحتل بيرنلي المركز الـ17 برصيد 10 نقاط.
Arsenal leads the Premier League with a 7-point advantage after an easy 2-0 victory over their hosts Burnley, continuing their impressive performance in set pieces.
Victor Okoh Yokušriš opened the scoring from close range in the 14th minute from another corner taken by Declan Rice and Gabriel.
Arsenal dominated the game in the 35th minute, and from a quick counter-attack, they doubled their lead with a header from Rice.
Burnley had no attempts on goal in the first half, and although they posed a greater threat after the break, Arsenal managed to keep a clean sheet for the seventh consecutive match across all competitions.
Arsenal's points tally rose to 25 from 10 matches, 7 points ahead of Bournemouth, who are in second place and visit Manchester City today (Sunday). Burnley is in 17th place with 10 points.
