أعلن النجم الإسباني سيرجيو بوسكيتس، لاعب إنتر ميامي الأمريكي، اعتزاله كرة القدم رسمياً بنهاية الموسم الحالي.
وقال نجم برشلونة السابق في مقطع فيديو قصير نشره عبر حسابه على «إنستغرام»: «ستكون هذه آخر أشهر لي في الملاعب، سأعتزل وأنا سعيد جداً، فخور، راضٍ، وقبل كل شيء، ممتن».
نهاية رحلة دامت 20 عاماً
وأضاف: «أشعر أن الوقت قد حان لوضع نقطة النهاية في مسيرتي كلاعب كرة قدم محترف، لقد أمضيت قرابة 20 عاماً من الاستمتاع بهذه القصة الرائعة التي لطالما حلمت بها». وأكد امتنانه لكرة القدم التي منحته، حسب وصفه، «تجارب فريدة، في أماكن رائعة، برفقة أفضل رفقاء الرحلة».
وتحدّث بوسكيتس عن نادي برشلونة في رسالته المؤثرة، قائلاً: «بفضل نادي برشلونة، نادي حياتي، تحققت أحلام طفولتي، ارتديت القميص الذي أعشقه في مئات المباريات، واحتفلت بالعديد من الألقاب، وعشت لحظات لا تُنسى في كامب نو، ستظل محفورة في ذاكرتي إلى الأبد».
Spanish star Sergio Busquets, player of Inter Miami, officially announced his retirement from football at the end of the current season.
The former Barcelona star said in a short video he posted on his Instagram account: "These will be my last months on the pitch, I will retire feeling very happy, proud, satisfied, and above all, grateful."
The End of a 20-Year Journey
He added: "I feel that the time has come to put an end to my career as a professional football player. I have spent nearly 20 years enjoying this wonderful story that I have always dreamed of." He expressed his gratitude for football, which, as he described, has given him "unique experiences, in amazing places, alongside the best companions on this journey."
Busquets spoke about FC Barcelona in his emotional message, saying: "Thanks to FC Barcelona, the club of my life, my childhood dreams came true. I wore the shirt I love in hundreds of matches, celebrated many titles, and lived unforgettable moments at Camp Nou, which will remain etched in my memory forever."
