كشف مصدر مسؤول بنادي الزمالك المصري موقف مجلس الإدارة من إقالة البلجيكي يانيك فيريرا من تدريب الفريق الأول لكرة القدم.
وفشل الزمالك في تحقيق الفوز في آخر 4 مباريات بمسابقة الدوري المصري الممتاز، حيث تعادل مع الجونة وغزل المحلة والبنك الأهلي، وخسر أمام الأهلي بهدفين مقابل هدف، ليحتل المركز الرابع برصيد 19 نقطة.
وقال المصدر لـ«عكاظ»: «الحديث عن إقالة فيريرا غير صحيح.. المدرب مستمر مع الزمالك».
ورفض المصدر التعليق حول ما إذا كانت بطولة السوبر المصري المقرر إقامتها في الإمارات مطلع نوفمبر القادم تشكل الفرصة الأخيرة للمدرب البلجيكي.

وقاد فيريرا «الفارس الأبيض» في 13 مباراة ببطولتي الدوري المصري والكونفدرالية هذا الموسم، فاز في 7 مباريات وتعادل في 4 لقاءات وتلقى هزيمتين، وينتهي عقده بنهاية الموسم الحالي.
يذكر أن المدرب البلجيكي خاض 3 تجارب في الدوري السعودي، إذ درب الفتح والرياض، إضافة إلى شغله منصب المدرب المساعد في فريق الشباب.
A responsible source at the Egyptian club Zamalek revealed the board's position regarding the dismissal of Belgian coach Yannick Ferreira from the first team of football.
Zamalek has failed to achieve victory in the last 4 matches in the Egyptian Premier League, having drawn with Ghazl El Mahalla and Al-Jouna, and lost to Al Ahly by two goals to one, placing them fourth with 19 points.
The source told Okaz: "Talk of Ferreira's dismissal is incorrect... the coach will continue with Zamalek."
The source declined to comment on whether the Egyptian Super Cup, scheduled to be held in the UAE at the beginning of next November, represents the last opportunity for the Belgian coach.

Ferreira has led "the White Knight" in 13 matches in the Egyptian league and the Confederation Cup this season, winning 7 matches, drawing 4, and suffering 2 defeats, with his contract ending at the end of the current season.
