أعلن نادي الزمالك المصري، اليوم الخميس، إلغاء لجنة التخطيط والتطوير بالنادي؛ بعد التعاقد مع جون إدوارد لتولي منصب المدير الرياضي.
وأوضح بيان القلعة البيضاء، أن اللجنة التي ضمّت كلاً من: عمرو الجنايني، حازم إمام، وأحمد حسام «ميدو»، أدّت عملها على الوجه الأكمل منذ تشكيلها وحتى انتهاء دورها، بصورة حضارية تعكس الرغبة من جانب جميع أعضائها في توفير كل السبل الكفيلة بتحقيق النجاح المأمول لكرة القدم داخل نادي الزمالك في الفترة القادمة.
وأشار البيان إلى أن اللجنة قدّمت مجهودات كبيرة في فترة تجاوزت سبعة أشهر، فيما يخص ملف كرة القدم، وانتهت بتقديم توصيات لهيكلة كاملة لقطاع كرة القدم إلى مجلس الإدارة، الذي اعتمد التوصيات وبدأ بالفعل في تنفيذها.

The Egyptian Zamalek Club announced today, Thursday, the cancellation of the Planning and Development Committee at the club, following the appointment of John Edward as the new sports director.
The statement from the White Castle clarified that the committee, which included Amr El-Ganaini, Hazem Emam, and Ahmed Hossam "Mido," performed its duties excellently from its formation until the end of its role, in a civilized manner that reflects the desire of all its members to provide all means necessary to achieve the anticipated success for football within Zamalek Club in the upcoming period.
The statement indicated that the committee made significant efforts over a period exceeding seven months regarding the football file, culminating in the submission of recommendations for a complete restructuring of the football sector to the Board of Directors, which approved the recommendations and has already begun to implement them.
Zamalek recently contracted with Belgian coach Yannick Ferreira, the former sports coach, to lead the first football team in the upcoming season.
