The heads and representatives of the Yemeni communities in Saudi Arabia condemned the attacks by the terrorist Houthi militia that target the security and stability of the Kingdom and Islamic sanctities, warning of the repercussions of its threats to maritime passages and international navigation on the security of the region and the world.
The leaders of the Yemeni community affirmed to "Okaz" their solidarity with the Kingdom and their support for the measures it takes to protect its territory and sanctities, emphasizing that the security of the Two Holy Mosques is a red line that cannot be compromised, and that the danger posed by the Iranian-backed militia has transcended Yemen to threaten the entire region.
The head of the Yemeni community in Mecca, Ahmed Abdul Salam Al-Qurashi, stated that the Houthi attacks targeting the security and stability of the Kingdom and its sanctities are unacceptable and will not diminish the resolve of the Kingdom and its loyal people, affirming that it will remain strong due to the wisdom of its leadership and the unity of its people.
For his part, the head of the Yemeni community in Dammam, Mohammed Al-Amri, praised the efforts of the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and its sincere support for the Yemeni people in their difficult circumstances.
Al-Qurashi confirmed that the positions of the Kingdom embody the values of chivalry and Arab solidarity, stressing that violating the security of Arab countries is something that cannot be accepted.
Meanwhile, the head of the Yemeni community in Najran, Mohammed Al-Abash, stated that the targeting of Saudi territory and Islamic sanctities by the Houthi militia, and the threat to the security of maritime passages and international navigation, represents a blatant aggression that harms the capabilities of the Yemeni people and their aspirations for stability. Al-Abash renewed the community's condemnation of these actions, affirming their support for all efforts and measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its territory, sanctities, and Arab national security.
For his part, Ali Ghaleb Al-Eisai, a member of the administrative body of the Yemeni community in Jeddah, confirmed that Mecca and Medina are a red line, and that protecting the Two Holy Mosques is the responsibility of the Islamic nation, pointing out that any threat targeting the Kingdom or endangering pilgrims, worshippers, and those praying requires condemnation and a firm stance.
Al-Eisai emphasized that Islamic sanctities must remain free from conflicts, and that their sanctity is above any calculations, noting that raising religious slogans is not enough to prove commitment to the values of Islam, which calls for the preservation of lives, protection of sanctities, and prevention of sedition.
Al-Eisai affirmed the Yemeni people's support for the legitimate government in facing the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia, calling for respect for sanctities, adherence to international law, and prioritizing wisdom over escalation.
For his part, Ahmed Abdullah Abu Yasser, an advisor to the Yemeni community in Asir, stated that defending the creed, homeland, leaders, and sanctities is a steadfast duty that cannot be compromised or neglected, emphasizing the importance of standing by the Kingdom in times of adversity and hardship.
In turn, Abdul Hamid Al-Hanahi, a member of the administrative body of the Yemeni community in Mecca, confirmed that the Houthi militia has become a project that threatens Yemen, the Kingdom, and the entire region, pointing out that its crimes have affected human values, national constants, and Islamic sanctities.
He added that the militia's connection to Iranian agendas and its pursuit of expanding its influence regionally and internationally make its danger exceed the borders of Yemen, noting its disregard for agreements and treaties, and calling for a firm stance to end its threats and protect the security and stability of the region.
