أكد الرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي، أهمية إجراء الانتخابات البرلمانية والرئاسية، باعتبارها خطوة أساسية نحو دعم المسار السياسي وتحقيق الاستقرار في ليبيا.
وبحسب بيان رسمي صدر، اليوم (الأربعاء) عن الرئاسة المصرية جدد السيسي كذلك تأكيد دعم بلاده الثابت لأمن ليبيا واستقرارها، إلى جانب مساندة المبادرات الرامية إلى تحقيق هذه الأهداف.
واستقبل السيسي، اليوم، القائد العام للجيش الوطني الليبي، المشير خليفة حفتر، في لقاء تناول العلاقات الثنائية بين مصر وليبيا، والتطورات المرتبطة بالأوضاع السياسية والأمنية في ليبيا، إلى جانب فرص تعزيز التعاون المشترك بين البلدين.
وحضر اللقاء رئيس أركان الجيش الوطني الليبي، الفريق أول خالد حفتر، ورئيس صندوق إعمار ليبيا، المهندس بالقاسم حفتر، إلى جانب رئيس المخابرات العامة المصرية الوزير حسن رشاد.
السيسي يرحب بزيارة حفتر
وقال المتحدث باسم الرئاسة المصرية السفير محمد الشناوي، إن الرئيس السيسي رحب بزيارة المشير خليفة حفتر إلى مصر، مؤكدًا عمق العلاقات الأخوية التي تجمع مصر وليبيا.
وشدد الرئيس المصري على أهمية تعزيز الروابط التاريخية التي تجمع بين البلدين والشعبين الشقيقين، بما يسهم في دعم التعاون المشترك وتحقيق المصالح المتبادلة.
مصر تتمسك بوحدة ليبيا وتوحيد مؤسساتها
وأوضح المتحدث أن الرئيس السيسي جدد خلال اللقاء التأكيد على موقف مصر الثابت تجاه ليبيا، والقائم على ضرورة الحفاظ على وحدة الدولة الليبية، والعمل على توحيد المؤسسات الليبية.
السيسي: حريصون على أمن ليبيا وتنميتها
وأكد السيسي حرص مصر على دعم الجهود الرامية إلى تحقيق الأمن والتنمية والازدهار في ليبيا، مع التشديد على ضرورة ضمان وحدة الأراضي الليبية وسلامتها.
كما تناول اللقاء فرص التعاون المشترك بين مصر وليبيا، بما يعزز الشراكة القائمة بين البلدين ويفتح المجال أمام مزيد من التعاون في المجالات المختلفة.
خليفة حفتر يثمن دور مصر
من جانبه، أعرب المشير خليفة حفتر عن اعتزازه بزيارة مصر، مثمنًا الجهود التي تبذلها القاهرة لدعم السلم والأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة بشكل عام، وفي ليبيا على وجه الخصوص.
وأكد حفتر دعمه للمبادرات الهادفة إلى تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار في ليبيا، والحفاظ على وحدتها، مشيرًا إلى أهمية استمرار الجهود الرامية إلى تجاوز التحديات التي تواجه البلاد.
تنسيق مصري ليبي لمواجهة التحديات
وأشار القائد العام للجيش الوطني الليبي إلى حرصه على مواصلة التنسيق مع مصر بشأن مختلف التحديات المشتركة، بما يدعم أمن واستقرار البلدين والمنطقة.
كما أكد تطلعه إلى تعزيز التعاون بما يسهم في تحقيق التنمية الشاملة في ليبيا، في ظل استمرار الجهود الرامية إلى دعم الاستقرار والحفاظ على وحدة الدولة الليبية.
The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi emphasized the importance of conducting parliamentary and presidential elections, considering it a fundamental step towards supporting the political process and achieving stability in Libya.
According to an official statement issued today (Wednesday) by the Egyptian presidency, Sisi also reiterated his country's firm support for Libya's security and stability, alongside backing initiatives aimed at achieving these goals.
Today, Sisi received the Commander of the Libyan National Army, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, in a meeting that discussed the bilateral relations between Egypt and Libya, the developments related to the political and security situations in Libya, as well as opportunities to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by the Chief of Staff of the Libyan National Army, Lieutenant General Khalid Haftar, the head of the Libya Reconstruction Fund, Engineer Al-Baqasim Haftar, in addition to the head of the Egyptian General Intelligence, Minister Hassan Rashad.
Sisi Welcomes Haftar's Visit
The spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, stated that President Sisi welcomed Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar's visit to Egypt, affirming the depth of the fraternal relations that bind Egypt and Libya.
The Egyptian president stressed the importance of strengthening the historical ties that unite the two countries and their brotherly peoples, which contributes to supporting joint cooperation and achieving mutual interests.
Egypt Stands Firm on Libya's Unity and Institutional Unification
The spokesperson clarified that President Sisi reiterated during the meeting Egypt's steadfast position regarding Libya, which is based on the necessity of preserving the unity of the Libyan state and working towards unifying Libyan institutions.

Haftar affirmed his support for initiatives aimed at achieving security and stability in Libya and preserving its unity, pointing to the importance of continuing efforts to overcome the challenges facing the country.

The Commander of the Libyan National Army indicated his eagerness to continue coordinating with Egypt regarding various common challenges, which supports the security and stability of both countries and the region.
