دعا البرلمان اليمني، اليوم (الأربعاء)، الشعب اليمني بمختلف فئاته وشرائحه إلى رص الصفوف والالتفاف حول القوات المسلحة والأجهزة الأمنية، وتقديم كل أشكال الدعم في تحرير ما تبقى من الأراضي اليمنية تحت سطوة إرهاب مليشيا الحوثي، وبسط شرعية الدولة على كامل التراب اليمني.
وأكد المجلس في بيانه ثقته بقدرة الشعب اليمني وقواته المسلحة، وبمساندة من الأشقاء والأصدقاء، على تجاوز التحديات الراهنة، وترسيخ ثوابت الجمهورية، وإنهاء الانقلاب الحوثي.
إدانة صارمة لجرائم القرصنة
ودان البرلمان اليمني الهجمات الإرهابية التي نفذتها المليشيا الحوثية واستهدافها المتعمد سفينة شحن هندية في البحر الأحمر، واصفاً ذلك بالتصعيد الخطير الذي يهدد أمن المنطقة وحرية التجارة العالمية.
وأوضح البيان أن مهاجمة سفينة شحن هندية متجهة إلى ميناء المخا بزورق مفخخ أدى إلى إغراقها، مشدداً على أن هذه الاعتداءات تشكل أعمالاً إرهابية وجرائم قرصنة بحرية، وعدواناً مباشراً على سيادة الدول وأمنها ومقدراتها الاقتصادية، فضلاً عن كونها تنفيذاً للمشروع الإيراني الخبيث الهادف لزعزعة الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي والدولي.
شراكة إستراتيجية لحماية الملاحة
وجدّد المجلس تأكيد دعمه لكافة الإجراءات والتدابير السيادية التي تتخذها السعودية واليمن لحماية الأمن واستقرار المنطقة، معرباً عن تضامنه مع الهند، ومؤكداً مؤازرته الجهود الدولية الرامية لتأمين أطقم السفن وسلامة الملاحة الدولية.
وبيّن البيان أن إمعان المليشيا في عسكرة البحر الأحمر واستهداف السفن التجارية لا سيما المحملة بالمواد الغذائية يكشف تورطها في مضاعفة المأساة الإنسانية ومفاقمة الأعباء الاقتصادية على كاهل الشعب اليمني. وأكد أن اليمن سيظل حراً منيعاً بوجه كافة مشاريع الوصاية الإرهابية.
The Yemeni Parliament called today (Wednesday) on the Yemeni people from all segments and classes to unite and rally around the armed forces and security agencies, and to provide all forms of support in liberating the remaining Yemeni territories under the grip of the Houthi militia's terrorism, and to establish the legitimacy of the state over all Yemeni soil.
The council affirmed in its statement its confidence in the ability of the Yemeni people and its armed forces, with support from brothers and friends, to overcome the current challenges, reinforce the principles of the republic, and end the Houthi coup.
Strong condemnation of piracy crimes
The Yemeni Parliament condemned the terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi militia and its deliberate targeting of an Indian cargo ship in the Red Sea, describing it as a dangerous escalation that threatens the security of the region and the freedom of global trade.
The statement clarified that the attack on the Indian cargo ship heading to the port of Mocha with a bomb-laden boat led to its sinking, emphasizing that these assaults constitute acts of terrorism and maritime piracy, and a direct aggression against the sovereignty of states, their security, and their economic resources, in addition to being an implementation of the malicious Iranian project aimed at destabilizing regional and international security and stability.
Strategic partnership for maritime protection
The council reiterated its support for all sovereign measures and actions taken by Saudi Arabia and Yemen to protect the security and stability of the region, expressing its solidarity with India, and affirming its support for international efforts aimed at securing ship crews and ensuring the safety of international navigation.
The statement indicated that the militia's continued militarization of the Red Sea and targeting of commercial ships, especially those carrying food supplies, reveals its involvement in exacerbating the humanitarian tragedy and increasing the economic burdens on the Yemeni people. It affirmed that Yemen will remain free and resilient against all terrorist guardianship projects.
