صرّح الناطق الرسمي باسم القوات المسلحة الأردنية – الجيش العربي، بأن الدفاعات الجوية، وضمن منظومة الرصد والمتابعة، تعاملت فجر اليوم (الأربعاء) مع خمسة صواريخ قادمة من إيران استهدفت أراضي المملكة، وتم اعتراضها وإسقاطها وفقاً لقواعد الاشتباك المعتمدة.
وأكد -وفقاً لوكالة «بترا» الأردنية- أن القوات المسلحة الأردنية تواصل أداء واجبها في حماية أجواء المملكة والحفاظ على أمنها وسيادتها، ولن تتهاون بالتعامل مع أي تهديد يمس أمن الوطن وسلامة مواطنيه.
The official spokesperson for the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, stated that the air defenses, as part of the monitoring and follow-up system, engaged at dawn today (Wednesday) with five missiles coming from Iran that targeted the territory of the Kingdom, and they were intercepted and destroyed according to the established rules of engagement.
He confirmed – according to the Jordanian news agency "Petra" – that the Jordanian Armed Forces continue to fulfill their duty in protecting the skies of the Kingdom and maintaining its security and sovereignty, and will not hesitate to deal with any threat to the security of the homeland and the safety of its citizens.
