شدد الرئيس المصري عبدالفتاح السيسي على تضامن مصر مع تونس في مواجهة الحرائق التي طالت مساحات من أراضيها، مؤكداً استعداد بلاده الكامل لتقديم الدعم اللازم في هذا الصدد.
وجدد السيسي، خلال اتصال هاتفي اليوم (الثلاثاء) مع نظيره التونسي قيس سعيد، تأكيد حرص مصر على تعزيز مسارات التعاون الثنائي، وتنفيذ مخرجات اللجنة العليا المشتركة وآليات التعاون القائمة، لترجمة الزخم السياسي الذي تشهده علاقات البلدين إلى نتائج ملموسة تحقق مصالح الشعبين الشقيقين.
وأوضح المتحدث باسم الرئاسة المصرية السفير محمد الشناوي أن الاتصال تناول كذلك التطورات الإقليمية والدولية محل الاهتمام المشترك، مبيناً أن السيسي أشار إلى خطورة الوضع الراهن في ضوء تجدد التوتر الذي تشهده المنطقة، محذراً من التداعيات السلبية المحتملة في حال الانزلاق مجدداً إلى التصعيد الشامل، مستعرضاً جهود مصر لتقريب مواقف الأطراف المعنية.
وأكد الرئيسان ضرورة تغليب الحلول السياسية والدبلوماسية، والعمل على خفض التصعيد واحتواء التوترات، لمنع اتساع نطاق الأزمات والحفاظ على الأمن والاستقرار الإقليميين. كما توافقا على أهمية تضافر جهود البلدين وتعزيز التنسيق والتشاور حول مختلف القضايا الإقليمية، خصوصاً في ظل التحديات الراهنة.
وبحسب بيان الرئاسة المصرية، جاء الاتصال في إطار التنسيق المستمر بين البلدين، إذ هنأ السيسي تونس، قيادةً وشعباً، بمناسبة الذكرى التاسعة والستين لعيد إعلان الجمهورية التونسية، منوهاً بمتانة العلاقات الأخوية بين البلدين، وما تستند إليه من تاريخ مشترك وروابط راسخة تجمع الشعبين، إذ يشهد العام الحالي حلول الذكرى السبعين لإقامة العلاقات الدبلوماسية بين البلدين.
The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasized Egypt's solidarity with Tunisia in facing the fires that have affected areas of its land, affirming his country's full readiness to provide the necessary support in this regard.
During a phone call today (Tuesday) with his Tunisian counterpart Kais Saied, El-Sisi reiterated Egypt's commitment to enhancing the paths of bilateral cooperation and implementing the outcomes of the joint higher committee and existing cooperation mechanisms, in order to translate the political momentum witnessed in the relations between the two countries into tangible results that serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
The spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, explained that the call also addressed regional and international developments of mutual interest, indicating that El-Sisi pointed to the seriousness of the current situation in light of the renewed tensions in the region, warning of the potential negative repercussions if there is a slip back into comprehensive escalation, while reviewing Egypt's efforts to bring the positions of the concerned parties closer.
Both presidents affirmed the necessity of prioritizing political and diplomatic solutions, working to reduce escalation and contain tensions, to prevent the widening of crises and to maintain regional security and stability. They also agreed on the importance of the two countries' joint efforts and enhancing coordination and consultation on various regional issues, especially in light of the current challenges.
According to the Egyptian presidency's statement, the call took place within the framework of ongoing coordination between the two countries, as El-Sisi congratulated Tunisia, its leadership, and its people, on the occasion of the sixty-ninth anniversary of the declaration of the Tunisian Republic, noting the strength of the fraternal relations between the two countries and the shared history and solid ties that unite the two peoples, as this year marks the seventieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
