ورغم الخسارة، تعامل المدرب المقدوني فلاشي فوجينيسكي مع اللقاء بمنطق الاختبار الشامل، حيث دفع بكامل عناصره الأساسية والمنضمين حديثاً، في محاولة واضحة لتشخيص مكامن القوة والضعف قبل الدخول في معترك الموسم.
وينتظر «فرسان مكة» خوض 4 وديات إضافية خلال معسكر أنطاليا، ستكون بمثابة المحطة الأخيرة لحسم هوية اللاعبين الذين سيراهن عليهم المدرب في الاستحقاقات الرسمية.

على الصعيد الإداري، تدخل إدارة الوحدة المراحل النهائية من سباقها مع الزمن لإغلاق الملفات العالقة محلياً وخارجياً، بهدف نيل شهادة الكفاءة المالية في أسرع وقت، وفتح باب تسجيل صفقات محلية وأجنبية قادرة على إعادة الفريق لواجهة «دوري يلو» بقوة.
The Al-Wehda team began its preparatory journey with an unexpected setback, after falling in its first friendly match during the Turkey camp against the Iraqi Duhok with a score of 2-0.
Despite the loss, Macedonian coach Vlashi Fojinjski approached the match with a comprehensive testing mindset, fielding all his key players and recent signings in a clear attempt to identify strengths and weaknesses before entering the fray of the season.
The "Knights of Mecca" are set to play 4 additional friendlies during the Antalya camp, which will serve as the final stage to determine the players the coach will rely on for official competitions.
The serious journey for Al-Wehda kicks off on August 16 at home in Mecca, when they face their first official test in the Round of 32 of the King Abdulaziz Cup.
