أكدت وزارة النقل اليمنية تأييدها للإجراءات التي أعلنتها قيادة القوات المشتركة لتحالف دعم الشرعية في اليمن، الهادفة إلى حماية أمن وسلامة الملاحة البحرية والتصدي للتهديدات التي تستهدف خطوط التجارة الدولية والممرات البحرية الحيوية.
وشددت الوزارة على أن أمن البحر الأحمر وخليج عدن يمثل عاملًا أساسيًا لاستقرار حركة التجارة العالمية، وضمان استمرار تدفق السلع والإمدادات الإنسانية، إلى جانب الحفاظ على سلامة قطاع النقل البحري بما يخدم مصالح اليمن ودول المنطقة والمجتمع الدولي.
وأشادت الوزارة بالجهود التي تبذلها المملكة العربية السعودية ودول تحالف دعم الشرعية في اليمن لدعم أمن واستقرار اليمن، وحماية الملاحة الدولية، والتعامل مع التهديدات التي تطال السفن التجارية والبنية التحتية المرتبطة بالنقل البحري.
ودعت المجتمع الدولي إلى مواصلة مساندته للجهود الرامية إلى حماية حرية الملاحة وتأمين الموانئ والممرات البحرية، بما يعزز الاستقرار الإقليمي ويحافظ على المصالح الاقتصادية والإنسانية المشتركة.
وأكدت وزارة النقل استمرار التنسيق مع مختلف الجهات الوطنية والإقليمية والدولية لضمان استمرار تشغيل الموانئ اليمنية، وتسهيل حركة النقل البحري، والحفاظ على سلامة الملاحة بما يضمن خدمة المواطنين ودعم النشاط التجاري والإنساني.
The Yemeni Ministry of Transport confirmed its support for the measures announced by the leadership of the Joint Forces of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, aimed at protecting the security and safety of maritime navigation and addressing threats targeting international trade routes and vital maritime corridors.
The ministry emphasized that the security of the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden is a fundamental factor for the stability of global trade, ensuring the continued flow of goods and humanitarian supplies, in addition to maintaining the safety of the maritime transport sector, which serves the interests of Yemen, the countries of the region, and the international community.
The ministry praised the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the countries of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen to support the security and stability of Yemen, protect international navigation, and address threats to commercial vessels and the infrastructure related to maritime transport.
It called on the international community to continue supporting efforts to protect freedom of navigation and secure ports and maritime corridors, which enhances regional stability and preserves shared economic and humanitarian interests.
The Ministry of Transport confirmed the continuation of coordination with various national, regional, and international entities to ensure the ongoing operation of Yemeni ports, facilitate maritime transport, and maintain the safety of navigation to ensure service to citizens and support commercial and humanitarian activities.
