The Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of Yemen, Dr. Sha'if Mohsen Al-Zandani, confirmed that the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in the temporary capital, Aden, embodies a model of developmental and humanitarian partnership between Yemen and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and it stands as a living testament to the direct impact of Saudi support in improving basic services and alleviating the suffering of Yemenis.

During his visit to the hospital today (Thursday), Al-Zandani praised the tremendous efforts made by the hospital administration and the medical, technical, and administrative staff in serving patients, affirming that what the hospital provides reflects a successful model in management and operational efficiency, and embodies an advanced level of quality in health services.

The Prime Minister explained that his eagerness to visit this medical edifice comes in appreciation of what it represents as a prominent landmark in the record of humanitarian and developmental support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Yemen, through the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, as it is one of the thousands of projects and initiatives that have contributed to alleviating the suffering of Yemenis and strengthening the resilience of state institutions across various sectors.

Al-Zandani renewed the appreciation of the Yemeni government and people for the generous support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, government, and people, and what it provides in sincere brotherly support to Yemen in various fields, foremost among them the health sector, commending the vital role of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen in implementing sustainable strategic projects that serve citizens, expressing his wishes for the hospital administration and all its staff for success and achievement in fulfilling their noble humanitarian mission.

He pointed out that the government gives special priority to the health sector within its reform and service programs, working to support health institutions, develop medical services, and enhance partnerships with brothers and friends to provide better health services to citizens in various liberated provinces.

During the visit, the Prime Minister toured several departments of the hospital, including the CT scan department, the cardiac catheterization unit, and the medical care and intensive care departments, and he reviewed the level of modern equipment and therapeutic services provided to patients.

The Prime Minister listened to explanations from the hospital's General Director, Dr. Ahmed Abdulaziz, and the medical staff about the nature of the specialized and quality health services provided by the hospital, the extent of their utilization, and the efforts of the medical and technical teams in providing comprehensive healthcare according to the highest standards, completely free of charge for all beneficiaries from all Yemeni provinces.

Al-Zandani inquired about the health conditions of several patients and listened to them regarding the level of care they are receiving, expressing his wishes for their speedy recovery.

The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts made by the doctors and staff at the hospital to provide distinguished medical and humanitarian services, and he held a meeting with the hospital administration in the presence of the Director of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen in Aden, Engineer Ahmed Madkhali.

During the meeting, Al-Zandani discussed the workflow, performance level, and prospects for developing health services to meet the increasing needs of citizens, in addition to plans to equip it with modern devices.

For his part, the General Director of the hospital reviewed the integrated health services provided by the hospital, noting that more than 30,000 surgical operations have been performed, including over 8,000 successful open-heart surgeries and cardiac catheterizations, highlighting the modern and advanced equipment relied upon by the hospital and the services it provides, including in the educational aspect.

In the hospital's visitor log, the Prime Minister expressed his happiness in his entries about visiting this great medical edifice, which represents an important landmark in the relations between Saudi Arabia and Yemen and the significant support provided by Saudi Arabia to its brothers in Yemen, not only in the medical field but in all areas of life, noting that the hospital, with the services it provides to all Yemeni citizens free of charge, will continue to have a significant impact on the entire Yemeni people.
