أعلن الجيش الكويتي اليوم (الأربعاء)، تصديه لأربعة صواريخ و21 مسيّرة إيرانية.
وقال المتحدث باسم وزارة الدفاع، العقيد الركن سعود عبدالعزيز العطوان، إن القوات المسلحة رصدت، اليوم 4 صواريخ جوالة، و21 طائرة مسيّرة معادية، داخل المجال الجوي الكويتي، وقد تم اعتراضها والتعامل معها.
وأوضح العطوان أن العدوان الإيراني الآثم على الكويت أسفر عن استهداف عدد من المنشآت الحيوية في البلاد، مما أدى إلى وقوع أضرار مادية، دون تسجيل أي إصابات بشرية، مؤكداً أن القوات المسلحة مستمرة في أداء مهامها وواجباتها بكفاءة، في إطار الجاهزية المستمرة والاستعداد الدائم، بما يعزز أمن الوطن ويحفظ سلامة المواطنين والمقيمين.
وأكد بيان الجيش الكويتي ارتفاع المسيّرات التي تم تدميرها إلى 970 مسيّرة، و387 صاروخاً باليستياً، و25 صاروخاً جوالاً.
وكانت الكويت والبحرين والأردن قد أعلنت تصدي دفاعاتها الجوية لعدة هجمات إيرانية في وقت سابق اليوم.
وطالبت القيادة العامة لقوة دفاع البحرين، بضرورة توخي الحذر، وعدم الاقتراب من أي أجسام غريبة أو مشبوهة ناتجة عن مخلفات «الاعتداء الإيراني الغاشم»، والإبلاغ عنها فوراً.
وشددت على أن تعمد استخدام الصواريخ والطائرات المسيّرة في استهداف المدنيين والممتلكات الخاصة، يُعد انتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي الإنساني.
بدوره، أعلن الجيش الأردني اعتراض وإسقاط ثلاثة صواريخ باليستية دخلت المجال الجوي الأردني قادمة من الأراضي الإيرانية، فجر اليوم، وبحسب ما نقلته وكالة الأنباء الأردنية «بترا»، عن مصدر عسكري فإن عملية الاعتراض والإسقاط نُفذت في إطار الإجراءات العملياتية والدفاعية المعتمدة لحماية حدود الوطن وأجوائه وأمن مواطنيه.
وأشار إلى أن العملية لم تسفر عن وقوع إصابات بشرية أو أضرار مادية، مبيناً أن فرق سلاح الهندسة الملكي تعاملت مع الشظايا التي سقطت في عدد من المواقع، وفق الإجراءات الفنية والأمنية المعتمدة، وجرى تأمين المواقع واتخاذ التدابير اللازمة.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaween, stated that the armed forces detected today four cruise missiles and 21 hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace, which were intercepted and dealt with.
Al-Otaween explained that the Iranian aggression against Kuwait resulted in targeting several vital facilities in the country, leading to material damage without any recorded human casualties, emphasizing that the armed forces continue to perform their duties efficiently, within the framework of ongoing readiness and constant preparedness, to enhance the security of the homeland and ensure the safety of citizens and residents.
The Kuwaiti army's statement confirmed that the number of drones destroyed has risen to 970, along with 387 ballistic missiles and 25 cruise missiles.
Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan had announced earlier today that their air defenses intercepted several Iranian attacks.
The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force urged the necessity of exercising caution and not approaching any strange or suspicious objects resulting from the "brutal Iranian aggression," and to report them immediately.
It emphasized that the deliberate use of missiles and drones to target civilians and private property constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
For its part, the Jordanian army announced the interception and downing of three ballistic missiles that entered Jordanian airspace coming from Iranian territory early this morning. According to what the Jordanian news agency "Petra" reported from a military source, the interception and downing operation was carried out as part of the operational and defensive measures adopted to protect the country's borders, airspace, and the security of its citizens.
It noted that the operation did not result in any human casualties or material damage, indicating that Royal Engineering Corps teams dealt with the debris that fell in several locations, following the approved technical and security procedures, and the sites were secured with necessary measures taken.
