طالب وزير الخارجية الألماني يوهان فاديفول، اليوم (الأربعاء)، بمزيد من التوضيح للمشاركة في مهمة تأمين مضيق هرمز، مؤكداً أن الظروف لم تتوفر بعد لمشاركة ألمانيا في مهمة لتأمين مضيق هرمز.
وقال فاديفول: «قبل أن تتمكن الحكومة الألمانية من صياغة تفويض لمثل هذه المهمة، هناك حاجة إلى مزيد من الوضوح».
وذكر فاديفول أنه لا يريد أن يتعرف على تفاصيل النقاط الـ14 الواردة في اتفاقية الإطار التي تم التفاوض عليها بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران من خلال البيانات الصحفية وحدها.
وأضاف: «أريد أن أعرف ما هو مضمون الاتفاق، وتحتاج ألمانيا إلى معرفة ما إذا كانت مثل هذه المهمة ممكنة في تلك المنطقة البحرية، وهو ما يعني أن الدول المجاورة يجب أن تعطي موافقتها».
من جهة أخرى، دعا وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي إلى وقف كامل الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية على لبنان.
وأوضح عراقجي، خلال اتصال هاتفي مع نظيره الروسي سيرجي لافروف، أن الولايات المتحدة مسؤولة عن حُسن تنفيذ بنود مذكرة إسلام آباد.
جاء ذلك في الوقت الذي قالت فيه الحكومة السويسرية إن توقيع مذكرة التفاهم سيعقد بمشاركة ممثلين رفيعي المستوى عن الولايات المتحدة وإيران وقطر وباكستان، موضحة أن المجلس الفيدرالي السويسري وافق اليوم على نشر قوات من الجيش في إطار دعم السلطات المدنية في إجراءات الأمن خلال الاجتماع بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران.
وذكرت الحكومة أن هذا الانتشار يأتي لتعزيز التدابير الأمنية التي تتخذها السلطات المدنية لتأمين الاجتماع المقرر عقده الجمعة.
من جهة أخرى، قال نائب الرئيس الأمريكي جي دي فانس، لشبكة «سي بي إس»، إن نص مذكرة التفاهم مع إيران سينشر يوم الجمعة القادم على أقصى تقدير، موضحاً أن إدارة ترمب ترغب في إطلاع الشعب الأمريكي على هذا الاتفاق.
ولفت إلى أن مزايا اقتصادية لإيران مشروطة بالاستجابة لمطالبنا بوقف تمويل الإرهاب والتخلي عن السعي لامتلاك سلاح نووي.
The German Foreign Minister, Johan Wadephol, called today (Wednesday) for more clarification regarding participation in the mission to secure the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing that the conditions have not yet been met for Germany to participate in a mission to secure the Strait of Hormuz.
Wadephol said, "Before the German government can formulate a mandate for such a mission, more clarity is needed."
He mentioned that he does not want to learn about the details of the 14 points included in the framework agreement negotiated between the United States and Iran solely through press releases.
He added, "I want to know what the content of the agreement is, and Germany needs to know whether such a mission is feasible in that maritime area, which means that neighboring countries must give their approval."
On the other hand, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi called for a complete halt to Israeli attacks on Lebanon.
Araghchi clarified, during a phone call with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, that the United States is responsible for the proper implementation of the terms of the Islamabad memorandum.
This comes at a time when the Swiss government stated that the signing of the memorandum of understanding will take place with the participation of high-level representatives from the United States, Iran, Qatar, and Pakistan, noting that the Swiss Federal Council approved today the deployment of army troops to support civil authorities in security measures during the meeting between the United States and Iran.
The government mentioned that this deployment aims to enhance the security measures taken by civil authorities to secure the meeting scheduled for Friday.
On another note, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance told CBS that the text of the memorandum of understanding with Iran will be published by next Friday at the latest, explaining that the Trump administration wants to inform the American people about this agreement.
He pointed out that economic benefits for Iran are conditional on responding to our demands to stop funding terrorism and abandoning the pursuit of nuclear weapons.
