أقر رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو اليوم (الإثنين) بوجود خلاف في الرأي بينه وبين الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب.
وقال نتنياهو في مؤتمر صحفي: «ترمب صديق لنا ومصالحنا مشتركة، لكن أحياناً لا نتفق أنا وترمب في الرأي»، موضحاً أن مصالحهم الأمنية في علاقاتهم مع الولايات المتحدة.
وأوضح أن العلاقة مع ترمب شراكة وليست فرض قرارات، متوعداً بالدخول في الانتخابات القادمة والانتصار بها.
وأعلن نتنياهو بقاء قواته في المناطق العازلة في غزة ولبنان وسورية طالما كانت هناك حاجة لذلك.
وأضاف: «سيطرنا على مناطق مركزية في لبنان هدد منها حزب الله إسرائيل»، موضحاً أنه لن يسمح للمسلحين بالتمركز على حدود إسرائيل.
وزعم نتنياهو أنه ألحق ضرراً هائلاً بالإيرانيين وأنقذ إسرائيل من خطر التدمير النووي، مبيناً أنهم قتلوا قادة إيران وألحقوا الأذى البالغ بأجهزتهم الأمنية.
وأشار إلى أنه نفذ مع أمريكا أكثر من 14 ألف غارة في إيران، مشدداً بالقول: «لم أقل إن هدفنا إسقاط النظام الإيراني، بل مساعدة الإيرانيين على ذلك» على حد زعمه.
في المقابل، قال الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان اليوم إن غالبية أعضاء المجلس الأعلى للأمن القومي الإيراني أيدوا نص مذكرة التفاهم التي تم التوصل إليها مع الولايات المتحدة.
ونقل تلفزيون «العالم» الإيراني عن بزشكيان قوله إن ذلك جاء بعد مناقشات مكثفة أجراها المجلس، مضيفاً: «تأييد نص مذكرة التفاهم جاء لاختبار مدى جدية الولايات المتحدة في احترام الشعب الإيراني على أرض الواقع».
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu acknowledged today (Monday) the existence of a disagreement between him and U.S. President Donald Trump.
Netanyahu said at a press conference: "Trump is a friend to us and our interests are shared, but sometimes Trump and I do not agree," clarifying that their security interests are in their relations with the United States.
He explained that the relationship with Trump is a partnership and not an imposition of decisions, vowing to enter the upcoming elections and win them.
Netanyahu announced the continued presence of his forces in the buffer zones in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria as long as there is a need for it.
He added: "We have controlled central areas in Lebanon from which Hezbollah threatened Israel," explaining that he will not allow militants to be stationed on Israel's borders.
Netanyahu claimed that he has inflicted tremendous damage on the Iranians and saved Israel from the threat of nuclear destruction, indicating that they killed Iranian leaders and caused significant harm to their security apparatuses.
He pointed out that he has carried out more than 14,000 strikes in Iran with the U.S., emphasizing: "I did not say that our goal is to overthrow the Iranian regime, but to help the Iranians do so," according to his claims.
In contrast, Iranian President Masoud Bezhaskian stated today that the majority of members of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council supported the text of the memorandum of understanding reached with the United States.
The Iranian "Al-Alam" television quoted Bezhaskian as saying that this came after intensive discussions held by the council, adding: "The support for the text of the memorandum of understanding came to test the seriousness of the United States in respecting the Iranian people on the ground."
