أكد تقرير «إنترنت السعودية» في نسخته الخامسة الصادر عن هيئة الاتصالات والفضاء والتقنية اتساع اعتماد المستهلكين على القنوات الرقمية، إذ بلغت نسبة شراء المنتجات أو الخدمات عبر الإنترنت 76.9%، بواقع 85.6% لدى الإناث و70.2% لدى الذكور.
وبيّن التقرير أن المتاجر المحلية استحوذت على النصيب الأكبر من عمليات الشراء بنسبة 95.3%، مقابل 55.4% لمواقع التسوق الدولية، وجاءت الملابس والأحذية في مقدمة السلع المشتراة عبر الإنترنت بنسبة 87.7%، تلتها مستحضرات التجميل بنسبة 46.2%، فالمواد الغذائية بنسبة 41.8%، ثم الكمبيوتر والهواتف الذكية بنسبة 36.9%، وخدمات السفر بنسبة 36.5%، فيما أظهرت على المستوى الجغرافي تصدّر المنطقة الشرقية التسوّق عبر الإنترنت بنسبة 85.2%.
القصيم وتبوك تتصدران
وفي مؤشرات الخدمات الرقمية، أوضح التقرير أن نسبة استخدام الخدمات الإلكترونية الحكومية بلغت 96%، بواقع 96.2% لدى الذكور، و95.6% لدى الإناث، وعلى المستوى المناطقي، تصدّرت منطقتا تبوك والقصيم استخدام هذه الخدمات بنسبة 98.6% لكلٍّ منهما، فيما جاءت منطقة الباحة في المرتبة الأدنى بنسبة 92.4%.
أما الخدمات الإلكترونية البنكية فقد بلغت نسبة استخدامها 85.9%، بواقع 86.2% لدى الإناث، و85.7% لدى الذكور، وتصدّرت المنطقة الشرقية استخدام هذه الخدمات بنسبة 89.6%، في حين سجّلت منطقة نجران المرتبة الأدنى بنسبة 78.1%.
وتأتي هذه المؤشرات في ظل نمو الاقتصاد الرقمي في المملكة، إذ بلغ حجم سوق الاتصالات والتقنية 199 مليار ريال بنهاية عام 2025، بمعدل نمو سنوي مركب بلغ 8% خلال آخر 5 سنوات، ليرسّخ مكانته الأكبر والأسرع نمواً في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.
The "Internet of Saudi Arabia" report in its fifth edition, issued by the Communications, Space and Technology Commission, confirmed the increasing reliance of consumers on digital channels, with the percentage of purchasing products or services online reaching 76.9%, comprising 85.6% for females and 70.2% for males.
The report indicated that local stores accounted for the largest share of purchases at 95.3%, compared to 55.4% for international shopping sites. Clothing and footwear topped the list of goods purchased online at 87.7%, followed by cosmetics at 46.2%, food products at 41.8%, computers and smartphones at 36.9%, and travel services at 36.5%. Geographically, the Eastern Province led online shopping with a rate of 85.2%.
Qassim and Tabuk Lead
In terms of digital services indicators, the report clarified that the percentage of using government electronic services reached 96%, with 96.2% for males and 95.6% for females. Regionally, the regions of Tabuk and Qassim topped the usage of these services at 98.6% each, while the Al-Baha region recorded the lowest rate at 92.4%.
As for electronic banking services, their usage rate reached 85.9%, with 86.2% for females and 85.7% for males. The Eastern Province led the usage of these services at 89.6%, while the Najran region recorded the lowest rate at 78.1%.
These indicators come amid the growth of the digital economy in the Kingdom, with the size of the telecommunications and technology market reaching 199 billion riyals by the end of 2025, with a compound annual growth rate of 8% over the last 5 years, solidifying its position as the largest and fastest-growing in the Middle East and North Africa.
