فيما أصيب جنديان من الجيش بجروح متوسطة، لقي 8 أشخاص مصرعهم اليوم (الثلاثاء) في غارات إسرائيلية متفرقة في لبنان، بحسب الوكالة الوطنية للإعلام الرسمية.
في حين قال الدفاع المدني اللبناني إنه انتشل 6 قتلى و3 جرحى من تحت أنقاض مبنى استُهدف في المروانية بقضاء صيدا، وأعلن الجيش اللبناني إصابة اثنين من جنوده بجروح متوسطة نتيجة استهدافهما بغارة إسرائيلية على طريق حبوش - دير الزهراني في النبطية جنوب لبنان.
في غضون ذلك، جدد الجيش الإسرائيلي اليوم إنذاراته لسكان مدينة النبطية، مطالباً إياهم بالإخلاء فوراً والانتقال إلى شمال نهر الزهراني.
وقال الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب في وقت سابق إنه أجرى «اتصالاً مثمراً للغاية» مع رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو، مؤكداً أنه «لن تكون هناك قوات متجهة إلى بيروت»، وأن أي قوات كانت في طريقها «جرى إرجاعها بالفعل».
وأضاف ترمب أنه أجرى كذلك، عبر ممثلين رفيعي المستوى، «اتصالاً جيداً جداً» مع جماعة «حزب الله»، مشيراً إلى أنهم وافقوا على وقف جميع عمليات إطلاق النار.
وذكر ترمب عبر منصة «تروث سوشيال» أن التفاهم يقضي بأن «إسرائيل لن تهاجمهم، وهم لن يهاجموا إسرائيل».
وتواصلت المواجهات ليلاً بين إسرائيل و«حزب الله» في جنوب لبنان، رغم إعلان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب موافقة الجانبين على وقف الأعمال القتالية، قبل جولة جديدة من المفاوضات بين لبنان وإسرائيل تُعقد الثلاثاء في واشنطن.
في المقابل، يعقد لبنان وإسرائيل، اللذان لا تربطهما علاقات دبلوماسية، جولة جديدة اليوم وغداً من المحادثات التي يعارضها «حزب الله»، وهي الرابعة منذ اندلاع الحرب في مطلع مارس الماضي.
While two soldiers from the army sustained moderate injuries, 8 people were killed today (Tuesday) in scattered Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon, according to the official National News Agency.
The Lebanese Civil Defense stated that it retrieved 6 dead and 3 injured from under the rubble of a building targeted in Marwaniyeh in the Sidon district, and the Lebanese army announced that two of its soldiers were moderately injured as a result of being targeted by an Israeli airstrike on the Haboush - Deir al-Zahrani road in Nabatieh, southern Lebanon.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army renewed its warnings today to the residents of the city of Nabatieh, urging them to evacuate immediately and move north of the Zahrani River.
U.S. President Donald Trump earlier stated that he had a "very productive call" with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, confirming that "there will be no forces heading to Beirut," and that any forces that were on their way "have already been turned back."
Trump added that he also had a "very good call" with representatives of the "Hezbollah" group, indicating that they agreed to cease all hostilities.
Trump mentioned via the "Truth Social" platform that the understanding stipulates that "Israel will not attack them, and they will not attack Israel."
Clashes continued overnight between Israel and "Hezbollah" in southern Lebanon, despite U.S. President Donald Trump's announcement of both sides agreeing to cease hostilities, ahead of a new round of negotiations between Lebanon and Israel scheduled for Tuesday in Washington.
In contrast, Lebanon and Israel, which do not have diplomatic relations, are holding a new round of talks today and tomorrow that are opposed by "Hezbollah," marking the fourth round since the outbreak of the war in early March.
