افتتح وزير الخارجية والمغتربين السوري أسعد حسن الشيباني القنصلية العامة للجمهورية العربية السورية في مدينة جدة، بحضور وفد رسمي من وزارة الخارجية السعودية، في خطوة تعكس تنامي التنسيق والتواصل الرسمي بين البلدين.
ويأتي افتتاح القنصلية ضمن جهود تعزيز الخدمات القنصلية المقدمة للمواطنين السوريين المقيمين في المملكة، وتسهيل إنجاز معاملاتهم وشؤونهم الرسمية، بما يسهم في تحسين الخدمات المقدمة للجالية السورية.
كما يعكس الافتتاح تطور العلاقات الثنائية بين السعودية وسورية، في ظل استمرار التحركات الدبلوماسية وتوسيع قنوات التعاون المشترك بين الجانبين خلال الفترة الأخيرة.
The Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, inaugurated the Consulate General of the Syrian Arab Republic in the city of Jeddah, with the presence of an official delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a step that reflects the growing coordination and official communication between the two countries.
The opening of the consulate is part of efforts to enhance the consular services provided to Syrian citizens residing in the Kingdom, facilitating the completion of their transactions and official matters, which contributes to improving the services offered to the Syrian community.
The inauguration also reflects the development of bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Syria, amidst ongoing diplomatic movements and the expansion of channels for mutual cooperation between the two sides in recent times.
