فيما أقر حزب الله بتنفيذ عدد من الهجمات على الأراضي المحتلة، أصدر الجيش الإسرائيلي، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، أوامر إخلاء لسكان مدينة صور بجنوب لبنان.
وصادق رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو ووزير دفاعه يسرائيل كاتس على تقدم الجيش للسيطرة على مناطق مرتفعة إضافية داخل الأراضي اللبنانية.
وقال كاتس إن الخطوة تهدف إلى منع إطلاق النار وحماية البلدات الإسرائيلية الحدودية، إلى جانب النقاط الخمس، التي تسيطر عليها إسرائيل حالياً داخل لبنان، مضيفاً: الجيش الإسرائيلي عمل خلال الليل على إحكام السيطرة الميدانية.
وأشار إلى استمرار العمليات ضد أهداف تابعة لحزب الله في لبنان، مبيناً أن الحزب يدفع وسيدفع ثمناً باهظاً جراء إطلاق النار باتجاه إسرائيل.
ولفت إلى التزام الحكومة الإسرائيلية بتوفير الأمن لبلدات الجليل.
وشن الجيش الإسرائيلي غارة على مدينة صيدا جنوب البلاد، وبحسب الوكالة الوطنية اللبنانية للإعلام، فإن الغارة الإسرائيلية استهدفت مركزاً تابعاً لـ«الجماعة الإسلامية» في صيدا.
وهاجم الجيش الإسرائيلي قيادات لحزب الله في الضاحية بعد إطلاق نحو 8 صواريخ من الجانب اللبناني.
وكانت إسرائيل قد أنذرت نحو 80 بلدة في الجنوب اللبناني، مطالبة السكان بإخلائها، كما استهدفت عشرات القرى والبلدات الجنوبية، بينها ياطر ويارون وعيتا الشعب، فضلاً عن النبطية وغيرها.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Defense Minister Israel Katz approved the army's advance to take control of additional elevated areas within Lebanese territory.
Katz stated that the move aims to prevent gunfire and protect the Israeli border towns, in addition to the five points currently controlled by Israel inside Lebanon, adding that the Israeli army worked overnight to tighten field control.
He noted the continuation of operations against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, indicating that the party is paying and will pay a heavy price for firing towards Israel.
He emphasized the Israeli government's commitment to providing security for the towns of the Galilee.
The Israeli army launched an airstrike on the city of Sidon in the south of the country, and according to the Lebanese National News Agency, the Israeli strike targeted a center belonging to the "Islamic Group" in Sidon.
