أعلنت وزارة الصحة الكويتية، اليوم (السبت)، استقبال 12 حالة إصابة في عدد من مستشفيات البلاد على خلفية الأوضاع الراهنة التي تشهدها المنطقة.
وقال المتحدث باسم وزارة الصحة عبد الله السند في تصريح صحفي إن مستشفى الفروانية استقبل 9 حالات، فيما استقبل مستشفى الجهراء حالتين، واستقبل مستشفى مبارك حالة واحدة، مبيناً أن طبيعة الإصابات تنوعت بين إصابات ناتجة عن ارتطام منخفض الشدة، وإصابات في الفخذين، وإصابات في الظهر والصدر، وإصابة في اليد، إضافة إلى إصابات سطحية في الوجه والرقبة.
وأضاف: توجد في مستشفى الفروانية حالة واحدة في غرفة الإنعاش لتلقّي الرعاية المكثفة والرقابة الدقيقة، فيما تتلقى بقية الحالات الرعاية في أقسام الملاحظة للرجال والنساء وجميعها تحت المتابعة الطبية المستمرة.
وأوضح السند أن الحالة الأولى في مستشفى الجهراء تعاني من إصابة نافذة في الفخذ الأيمن والحالة العامة مستقرة وتخضع للمتابعة من فريق الطوارئ وجراحة الإصابات مع استكمال الفحوصات اللازمة، أما الحالة الثانية فهي إصابة سطحية في الرأس والحالة العامة مستقرة وتخضع للملاحظة الطبية.
وكانت وزارة الدفاع الكويتية قد أعلنت في وقت سابق إصابة 3 من منتسبي القوات المسلحة نتيجة سقوط شظايا في قاعدة علي السالم الجوية جراء التعامل مع الصواريخ الباليستية والمسيّرات، وفقاً لما ذكرته وكالة الأنباء الكويتية (كونا).
ونقلت الوكالة عن رئاسة الأركان الكويتية تأكيدها استمرار العمليات العسكرية للتصدي لموجات الهجمات الصاروخية الباليستية والطائرات المسيّرة في إطار حماية أجواء دولة الكويت وصون سيادتها.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today (Saturday) the reception of 12 injury cases in several hospitals across the country due to the current situation in the region.
Spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Abdullah Al-Sanad, stated in a press release that Al-Farwaniyah Hospital received 9 cases, while Jahra Hospital received 2 cases, and Mubarak Hospital received 1 case, indicating that the nature of the injuries varied between those resulting from low-intensity impacts, thigh injuries, back and chest injuries, and an injury to the hand, in addition to superficial injuries to the face and neck.
He added: There is one case in the intensive care unit at Al-Farwaniyah Hospital receiving intensive care and close monitoring, while the remaining cases are receiving care in the observation wards for men and women, all of which are under continuous medical supervision.
Al-Sanad clarified that the first case at Jahra Hospital is suffering from a penetrating injury to the right thigh, and the general condition is stable, being monitored by the emergency and trauma surgery team while completing the necessary tests. The second case has a superficial head injury, and the general condition is stable and under medical observation.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense had previously announced that 3 members of the armed forces were injured due to shrapnel falling at Ali Al-Salem Air Base as a result of dealing with ballistic missiles and drones, according to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
The agency reported that the Kuwaiti General Staff confirmed the continuation of military operations to counter waves of ballistic missile attacks and drones as part of protecting the airspace of the State of Kuwait and preserving its sovereignty.
