Australian media revealed today (Tuesday) the evacuation of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese from his official residence in Canberra, known as "The Lodge," following a serious security threat, indicating that Albanese was moved to a safe alternative location while authorities assess the situation.

Australia News reported that the Prime Minister's evacuation was in response to a bomb threat, while a spokesperson for the Australian Federal Police stated that a thorough search of the designated protection area was conducted, and nothing suspicious was found.

He added, "There is currently no threat to the community or public safety, and further information will be provided in due course."

Australia News Network reported that the Prime Minister was unharmed.

The Australian Prime Minister had called for calm last week after a major defense event in Canberra was disrupted due to incidents being investigated by the police, and the police evacuated hundreds of attendees at the ADM conference at the Hyatt Hotel after a suspicious package was found, deploying a bomb disposal team to the site. Additionally, a stone was thrown at the hotel window during another speech, causing a rush of people towards the exits.

It is worth noting that concerns have increased regarding threats directed at elected officials across Australia.
