أكدت بعثة الأمم المتحدة للدعم في ليبيا، اليوم (الأربعاء)، على جميع الأطراف بضرورة ضبط النفس وتجنب أي سلوكيات من شأنها زيادة التوترات أو تعريض الأمن والاستقرار للخطر.
وأعربت البعثة الأممية عن استيائها البالغ إزاء قتل سيف الإسلام القذافي، أمس، في منطقة الحمادة، قرب الزنتان، مؤكداً على ضرورة التوصل إلى حل سياسي لليبيا كوسيلة لتحقيق الاستقرار والتنمية على المدى الطويل.
ودانت البعثة بشدة أعمال الاستهداف، وجميع أعمال العنف المماثلة، التي تقوض سيادة القانون، وتنتهك حرمة حياة الإنسان، وتهدد السلام والاستقرار في ليبيا، مبيناً أن الحادثة تسلط الضوء على الحاجة المُلحة لمعالجة جميع حالات القتل المماثلة في جميع أنحاء البلاد.
ودعت البعثة، السلطات الليبية المختصة بشكل عاجل إلى إجراء تحقيق سريع وشفاف في هذه الجريمة لتحديد هوية المسؤولين عنها وتقديم الجناة إلى العدالة، واتخاذ تدابير حاسمة لوضع حد لهذا النمط من العنف.
وكان عبدالله عثمان، المستشار ورئيس الفريق السياسي لسيف الإسلام معمر القذافي، قد أعلن أمس وفاة نجل الرئيس الليبي السابق معمر القذافي، دون ذكر تفاصيل.

The mission urgently called on the relevant Libyan authorities to conduct a swift and transparent investigation into this crime to identify those responsible and bring the perpetrators to justice, as well as to take decisive measures to put an end to this pattern of violence.
