أعلنت المؤسسة العامة لكهرباء عدن أمس (السبت)، تسلمها دفعة وقود إسعافية من المملكة العربية السعودية، والبدء بإعادة تشغيل عدد من محطات التوليد المتوقفة في المدينة، لتعويض الفاقد الناتج عن توقف محطات الطاقة الشمسية.
وقالت المؤسسة، في بيان، جرى توفير وقود الديزل بمتابعة من قيادة التحالف والسلطة المحلية وشركة النفط، موضحة أن هذه الدفعة ستسهم في رفع القدرة التوليدية والحفاظ على استقرار الخدمة خلال الأيام القادمة.
وأوضحت المؤسسة أن عمليات نقل وقود الديزل والمازوت من شركة «بترومسيلة» ستبدأ اعتباراً من اليوم (الأحد)، بموجب اتفاقية موقعة بين البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن ووزارة الكهرباء والطاقة اليمنية، بما يتيح تشغيل محطات الكهرباء في عدن ومحافظات أخرى مستفيدة من المنحة السعودية، بعد توقف استمر لأشهر.
وكانت وزارة الكهرباء اليمنية قد اتهمت، الخميس)، الشركة المشغلة لمحطتي الطاقة الشمسية في عدن وشبوة بإيقاف تشغيل المحطتين بشكل مفاجئ ودون تنسيق مسبق، ما أثر على استقرار خدمة الكهرباء.
وشهدت الكهرباء في عدن تحسناً ملحوظاً في الأيام الماضية ووصل عدد ساعات الخدمة إلى 14 ساعة بعد أن كان يقتصر على ساعتين في اليوم، فيما عادت شبكة المياه للعمل لكل المنازل على مدار الساعة.
The Public Electricity Corporation of Aden announced yesterday (Saturday) that it has received an emergency fuel shipment from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and has begun to restart several power generation stations that had been halted in the city, to compensate for the losses resulting from the shutdown of solar power stations.
The corporation stated in a statement that diesel fuel was provided with the follow-up of the coalition leadership, the local authority, and the oil company, explaining that this shipment will contribute to increasing the generation capacity and maintaining service stability in the coming days.
The corporation clarified that the transfer of diesel and mazut fuel from the "Petromasila" company will begin starting today (Sunday), under an agreement signed between the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen and the Yemeni Ministry of Electricity and Energy, which will allow the operation of electricity stations in Aden and other provinces benefiting from the Saudi grant, after a halt that lasted for months.
The Yemeni Ministry of Electricity had accused, on Thursday, the company operating the solar power stations in Aden and Shabwa of unexpectedly stopping the operation of the two stations without prior coordination, which affected the stability of the electricity service.
Electricity in Aden has seen a noticeable improvement in recent days, with service hours reaching 14 hours after being limited to two hours a day, while the water network has resumed operation for all homes around the clock.
