زيلينسكي: مفاوضات لإعداد وثائق إنهاء الحرب

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that his country's delegation has conducted several rounds of negotiations with the American side, expressing hope for signing an agreement with the United States regarding security guarantees during the upcoming economic forum in Davos, Switzerland, which will take place next week.

Zelensky stated in his daily video message, "Several rounds of negotiations have already taken place, and they are working on preparing the necessary documents to end the war."

Zelensky expressed doubt about Russia's desire to end its war against his country, considering that Moscow is focused on its missile strikes and the daily targeting of Ukrainian energy facilities.

He added that about 58,000 employees are working across the country to repair the destroyed electricity and heating infrastructure, noting that the situation in Kyiv remains "very difficult."

Yesterday (Sunday), Zelensky's chief of staff, Kyrylo Budanov, reported that Ukraine will receive heating equipment from Italy "to support the areas most affected by Russian terrorism" during the winter.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian National Security Council Secretary Rustem Umerov announced on Sunday that his country's negotiators held substantive talks in the United States with American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, and they expect to resume them next week.

Umerov stated on social media, "We had substantive discussions about economic development and the prosperity plan, in addition to security guarantees for Ukraine," noting that communication will continue with the Americans in Davos.

The Ukrainian negotiators held talks with American envoys and U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll.

Kyiv is seeking clear security guarantees from its Western allies to accompany any ceasefire agreement with Russia.
